  • A fantastic experience immersed in the rural landscape of the Upper Minho, with every possible comfort in a charming historic home. Built in 1896, Quinta do Mosteiro has been part of the Bouças family’s history for four generations. Once a grocery store that played a central role in the village’s daily life, it is now a charming rural tourism destination following its 2016 restoration.
    Guests are welcomed into a cozy atmosphere where the refinement and elegance of yesteryear blend with the comfort and well-being provided by contemporary features.
    The interior spaces blend harmoniously with the spacious outdoor area—comprising terraces, a garden, and a pool—and offer an atmosphere of peace, tranquility, and well-being.

La casa estupenda, todo perfecto y no faltaba nada. Olga , un encanto nos ha facilitado al máximo nuestra estancia. La zona muy bonita Cien por cien recomendable la casa

Beautiful house close to Geres

Lovely stay with our large family. Olga was a great help for check in and providing recommendations for restaurants and places to visit. Large accommodation with super salt swimming pool which the kids loved. Spacious, light and has everything you need for a wonderful stay. Good location too for visiting the national park of Peneda-Geres.

Beautiful large home in a stunning setting

My family and I stayed here for a week- we were 5 adults and 3 children. The house is very spacious with plenty of room for us all both inside and out. The children especially loved the pool which is a great size with poolside sun loungers and a swing hammock. The house is very well equipped and very clean with plenty of towels (for both bathroom and swimming use) with 2 zones of air conditioning. Olga, the home wonder was very welcoming and we were in contact before the holiday, it helped that she lived in a house on site when we had a few minor issues which she sorted quickly. We didn't feel over looked and were able to relax and enjoy our stay as if staying in our own home. The house is in a beautiful location, off the tourist trap, surrounded by beautiful scenery. We had wonderful days exploring the local mountains and towns; we especially loved Porto do Lima and Ponte do Barca- the latter has a beautiful river and lagoon perfect for family picnics and paddling.
