The good: Incredibly clean, very friendly staff, comfortable and well located. The bad: No air conditioner which means open windows. I was given a third floor room facing the street. It was so loud with folks walking, talking, partying, music, sirens and traffic, I barely slept. It was still better than closing the window and sweating.

this hotel is very 80s, a bit worn around the edges and junky even, there is a pool table in the lobby and one of those awful fake suites of armor, the art is very 80s but of the three hotels I have stayed in this trip do to availability because of Holy Week this is the one I would stay in again.

I.L.I. I Love It. Best staff ever.

A long awaited trip to visit family. 30 years in the making. Great place and near everything. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate my Wife and Sister and even up grated the room free. Great restaurant in the hotel and flowers everywhere. Will recommend. I.L.I. I Love It…… I must commend the staff that made that place one of the best overall and I have being in 23 countries. I.L.I.

Everything was perfect...just one minor detail...no air conditioning in any of the rooms...they only provide a fan...the room gets very very hot at all times...they need to have at least a portable a/c or something better than a fan...other than that it was all excellent

I have never written a negative review before now, but I had such a frustrating experience I feel it is important to share. As a seasoned global traveler, rarely have I witnessed such a disorganized state of affairs as I found in Hotel Casa Santa Domingo. A warning to all travelers who need to use their room on the day that this hotel cannot provide a smooth transition between its rooms - even when you have paid an extra $194 for an upgrade to ensure it. I was forced out of my room promptly at noon and not given access to my new room until after 3 pm. I was offered the bustling hotel entrance for my private Zoom meeting as there was no quiet place to offer me when I needed it most, including my own room. I only paid the upgrade to be in a better room thinking it would be a smooth transition. Had I known I would be evicted at noon, I never would have paid it. Won’t be making the mistake of upgrading here again. On a more positive note, the property is a museum

No hay estación de cafetería. Las habitaciones no cuentan con frigobar - ni siquiera botellas con agua. Es necesario salir a buscarlas al front-desk porque el interno no funciona (o no lo atienden). Ya en el front-desk, las opciones son mínimas: agua con gas o bebidas deportivas. Luego, al momento del desayuno las opciones del buffet son muy pocas, se acaban pronto (p.e. mermelada se termina para las 08.00 AM) y no reponen rápidamente (p.e. la fruta) o simplemente se acaban por el resto del día. ¿Una más? No entregan copias de las llaves, solo una por habitación. Necesité coordinarme con mi pareja para poder acceder.
