Hotel is old smells and rundown. Pictures are fake and doesn’t represent the real story! This is second time this is happened with booking this year to me . And nobody is responsible!!!! They checked us in to a dirty used room and then put us in a room with no tp and unfinished room with broken tiles, no electrical covers and doors falling off. No ice. People were using extension cords in hall across the entrance cooking outside the door.. if it weren't for it being non refund we would of left.

We have stayed at this location several times. Every stay we've enjoyed the warm small town hospitality. All of the staff is cordial, knowledgeable, & willing to assist us with any needs. We always look forward to our next stay at the Poplar Bluff Super 8.

Office staff was friendly and courteous. Cleaning and fresh towels service poor. 1 time for a 4 night stay. Phone was broken and did not work at all. Main floor lamp also broken.

Don't stay here

Don't stay here. Bathroom floor cracked tile, broken tp holder, terrible paint job and caulking. Door wouldn't close Hallway was filthy. Door really hard to open because of something being off. Breakfast very skimpy, not even a tea bag Ice maker broken Had to use two remotes for TV, one for volume, one for channel changing. Bed and bedding were nice.

The Poplar Bluff Dump

First room door would not work. Moved us upstairs with no elevator. Dragging all our stuff up a flight of stairs. The Tv would not even come on . There was an office chair at the dear. My husband sat down and the chair tipped over. A wheel was missing and the made a make shift wheel out of duct tape. The Wi-Fi would not connect. Bathroom had not been cleaned. Dirty towels on the floor and used soap in the shower. Keep driving folks DO NOT stay here!!

Slept at worse, but could use improvements.

We got what we paid for. It was a place to sleep for the night. Shower was hot, beds not so comfortable. Not much for breakfast cereal, apple, toast, one kind of yogurt.

Decent !

I appreciate the updates they have done, they’re trying to keep up with modern look. Beds were creeky and dusty so not the most comfortable sleep but no bugs and the room was clean, definitely like that there was tile instead of carpet which made it feel cleaner. I was in the second floor which seemed better looking but I can only say that based on the hallway carpet looking really rough on the first floor. Our office chair was rough looking just like the first floor carpet maybe the rough reviews stayed on the first floor so I suggest asking for the second floor. AC ran cold but it was so loud and the walls are like paper thin. It’s a bargain stay so didn’t expect much but we only stayed a night passing through on a road trip. TV didn’t work no matter what I tried, direct tv box maybe is dead.
