Beautiful stay!

We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed the property. It was clean, the lake was beautiful and peaceful, and the home was well stocked! We adventured into Olympic National each day and then came home and enjoyed the deck to rest and recharge.

Emerald Haven

We had an amazing time at Emerald Haven! The house far exceeded our expectations. Very comfortable beds and enough room for everyone. Beautifully decorated with lots of new appliances and furniture! Very clean with a fully stocked kitchen! Convenient location to Olympic National Park and Port Angeles. We love it here!

Beautiful lake home

This is an excellent property on a perfect lake. We had so much fun! The beds were very comfortable with nice linens, towels were plentiful, and the kitchen was decently stocked.

Absolutely gorgeous location! We spent a whole day just watching the 3 bald eagles that were there at the time fish. So many great areas around for hiking. House was comfy as well. Would stay again!

Lovely place

This is a super-late review (I never got a prod to do this, sorry). We stayed here at the end of 2024, and loved it. We rowed the entire lake Sutherland using the two kayaks that are in the boathouse (the door feels closed but it isn’t), and we walked in the cold to the hotel on Crescent Lake. There’s a red squirrel who lives in a little box in a tree to the right of the house (if you face the water), and I think his name is Cyril.

Peaceful Paradise

The house was beautiful inside and out. Heated floors were such a treat. All beds were so comfortable! The view of the lake is breathtaking !! The host was great and very informative. We will be back!!

Our family (parents with 3 adult children and their spouses/partners very much enjoyed our stay there--the setting was spectacular amd the amenities almost perfect. Our 1 complaint was that the privacy curtain for the downstairs queen bedroom was not private--it was very see through, and the couple staying there were not happy about that. We did find some thicker curtain panels in a closet and installed them. I would recommend that you either correct the description of privacy curtain or leVe the opaque pNels in place.

Breathtaking views from the house

Lovely peaceful property on the lake with beautiful views. The whole home sound system was great. Music can be played inside and/or outside and there are volume controls in most rooms/areas to adjust as desired. We enjoyed soaking up the sun and views on the boat dock. We wish we would have had more time to enjoy the available water toys but we had a full schedule this trip. The water was a bit cool but the weather was absolutely perfect during our stay. Home was very clean with plenty of towels, bathroom, laundry and kitchen supplies. The steps/stairs leading to/from the parking spot to the house and boat house and dock aren't too bad but are many so I'd recommend packing lighter bags instead of a very heavy suitcase like i did. :) We enjoyed our stay very much and look forward to staying there again one day.

Best vacation

The photos of the lake don't do this place justice. I cannot overstate that. It is SO gorgeous here. The property was stocked with the appliances and linens that we needed to stay on a lake. There were 2 kayaks and 1 board. I recommend you bring your own lifejackets as the ones provided didn't fit half the party. Also, the dock looks like it's about to get a remodel (August 2023 is when we went), so bring flipflops just in case it hasn't been by the time you get here. It's safe as is, but a little rough on the bare feet. The water is clean and clear. We swam all day every day. There are a few boat owners who will rent you time on their boat with them driving so you can do any water sport you want. We didn't do it as we were having so much fun just swimming at our dock, but if we had one more day there we would have. There was an egg grill/smoker that wasn't clean (i.e., full of ash) so the first night the food took a LONG time. Also, user error, we didn't know how the thing worked. The next two nights we watched a few vids and cleaned it out and it worked beautifully. There is wifi but it doesn't work like it would if you were in Seattle, so don't expect it to. It was enough to do minor things, but not enough for the kids to play any online games. We are planning on trying to rent this place next year for a longer period. We were there for 3 nights and that was enough, but 7 would allow us to also do some of the water sport rentals and possibly a day trip or two.

Beautiful serene location

It was beautiful and amazing location with awesome views and amazing doc with chairs to lounge. Used the kayaks and paddle boards every day. The hot tub was so nice to have, espeicllay with the cold water from lake.

Great stay!

We had a great stay! Only thing to note is that the two small beds are really only big enough for toddlers, so plan accordingly! Otherwise we had a great trip and would definitely book again.
