Watch ships pass by, enjoy sunrise and sunset from the deck, and relax just steps from the beach at Lost Salt Surf Shack. Sip your coffee or a cocktail in the shade, unplug from the daily grind, and make some easy memories with family or friends. We’ve got games, a pellet grill, and plenty of flags to fly. You choose which flag to fly, we`ve got tons.
This home has three bedrooms: a king, a queen, and a room with two twin-over-twin bunks. The spacious living room and fully stocked kitchen make it easy to relax or cook meals. You’ll also have access to a laundry closet. Enjoy the top deck with great views and seating, unwind on the downstairs patio, and find more games, seating, and a firepit in the garage—perfect for evenings together.
You’ll have access to the entire house during your stay, except for any locked closets, which are reserved for owner storage and cleaning supplies. Please also avoid accessing the attic. All other spaces—including bedrooms, living areas, kitchen, patios, and garage—are yours to enjoy.
The best way to reach me is through Airbnb’s messenger, but you’re also welcome to call or text if you need anything during your stay. I’m always happy to help!

It features wide open beaches, picturesque Gulf views, and sandy shorelines ideal for beach combing, birding, or casual outings with family and friends
This area is quiet, residential, and casually friendly—perfect for unplugging and enjoying the coastal scenery. Homes here are elevated due to flood risk, offering unmatched water views and a breezy coastal lifestyle
Nearby you’ll find scenic parks like Fort Travis Seashore Park, historic sites, local seafood spots, and easy public access to beaches and marshland trails
In short: It’s a tranquil slice of Gulf‑side living—relaxed, scenic, and refreshingly unhurried.
Getting around Port Bolivar is easy and laid-back. Most guests drive, and there’s plenty of parking at the house. You’re just a quick walk or drive from the beach—golf carts are popular here and are allowed both in the neighborhood and right on the beach. Local shops, restaurants, and the ferry to Galveston are all a short drive away, so you’ll have everything you need within easy reach.
Please note: A security deposit pre-authorization hold of $300 is required. You’ll receive a secure guest portal link after booking to enter your card info. The hold is placed 3 days before check-in and released 4 days after check-out, as long as there’s no damage.
There are three security cameras, one monitors the bottom patio, one overlooks top deck, and the other points towards the beach.
*Please ensure you read and fully understand the house rules at the beginning of your stay.*
-Maximum occupancy is 8 people. Any additional people must be pre-approved prior to final reservation. Only registered guests (guests that are on the reservation) are allowed at the house. Any visitors must be disclosed and approved by me.
-DO NOT PARK UNDER THE HOUSE. Park only on the driveway. Be very careful that you do not hit the pilings with your vehicle
-Absolutely NO SMOKING
-No parties or events
-Do not engage in any illegal activities on the property
-Do not leave out any food out that will attract unwanted pests
-Be sure to maintain a good level of cleanliness throughout your stay, this will make it much easier when check-out time comes!
-If there`s any accidental damage, let me know ASAP and I`ll look into the issue internally to decide if and how much the deduction or repair cost will be.
-Keep noise to a minimum during nighttime hours
-If anything is unclear, please contact us so we can explain in further detail to avoid any misunderstandings.
-If any thing is used from the garage, please return the item in it`s original spot.
-Grills need to stay downstairs only. Grilling on the deck is prohibited and against Galveston County ordinance. PLEASE CLEAN THE GRILL AFTER USE
-If you go to the beach, please rinse sand off in the shower under the house. Leave your sandy shoes on the deck by the front door.
-Do not flush feminine hygiene products, or anything other than what is expected to be flushed down the toilet, it will damage the septic system.
-Do not pour grease down the drains.
-If something is accidentally broken, let me know ASAP. (We understand that accidents occur and things can be broken. If this happens, please contact us so we can replace or repair damaged items. However, if damage occurs due to malicious or careless behavior, responsibility for replacement or repairs may be at renters’ expense.)
-Please lock doors upon departure and return the key to the lockbox.
-If guests are asked to leave due to irresponsible and bad behavior, no refund will be given for lost days.
-If renter must cancel due to tropical storm/hurricane evacuation requirements, full refund will be given. If renter must evacuate during their stay due to tropical storm/hurricane, they will be credited for all days lost.
-We are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illnesses that occur while on the premises, nor are the owners responsible for loss or damage of personal property of renters.
- By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all renters are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premises.
- The beaches at Crystal Beach have no lifeguards on duty. Swimming is at visitor’s own risk.
