Lovely main home nestled in the beautiful forest of Nikaus and palms. Short stroll to beach, great walks, great snorkelling and fishing and kayaking. Home has all essentials for cooking, barbequing and layzing in the sun. Upstairs Cabin with breathtaking views to Lion Rock and Great Barrier Island with Birdsong. Upstairs deck for entertaining and sunning. Small cafe down road great for coffees and lunch and spa is you want creature comforts. Main house and cabin for great family times.

Peaceful retreat

We fell in love with Port Charles. This was a charming Bach in an unspoilt bay. A true place to get away from it all and get back to simple living. We heard kiwi in the surrounding bush at night. Thank you for a fantastic stay.

Beautiful part of the world, property is in a fantastic location with seaviews from every vantage point. Booking and communication with host was excellent. One bathroom and 4 x beds accessible only via ladder and multiple stairs, not suitable for mobility impaired individuals or large groups of adults.

Great Location

We love this location, great community and beautiful beaches and bird life (Kaka and dotterel chicks) which brings us back frequently. This is a typical kiwi Bach with water restrictions due to tank water and very compact but fine for our party of 7 in nice weather with views to the ocean. Chattels need updating as no washing machine (that we could find) or lift (not that we needed one) and delays in communications with manager in regards to parking situation for trailer, keys etc but generally awesome stay and comfy beds. Super helpful and friendly neighbours.
