There is no reception at all which appears very off-putting on arrival.Other things of note are, the king size bed was uncomfortable and needed the mattresses replacing, the pillows on the bed were particularly uncomfortable, the entrance to the underground parking at street kerb position was poorly designed and made the front of the car drag on the ground. Other than these things, the room was clean, well equipt and tidy as was the spa bath and the swimming pool.

Room was spacious, ample towels, very comfy bed. Entire premises very clean. Pool area very restful had BBQ one night. Balcony over looked Grant St. teaming with people during the day and wild life at night. View of birds flying foxes going about their evening rituals in tees at eye level from balcony, oblivious of us and diners below. No visible staff on premises, found it a little strange not interacting with staff at premises, by chance met 2 of them at Coles. Parking safe and secure a little difficult on entry exit (very steep & tight) should be note on website about this.

Can’t really fault Mantra in the village! Location was perfect, secure parking, unique and beautiful pool. The room was amazing, with a spa bath on the balcony and a large L-shaped couch. Easy to check in/out. You were given bath and pool towels. Lovely toiletries. Everything was perfect!

Fantastic accomodation and wakking distance to marina, bike hire, cafes and restaurants. Pool was perfect temperature and very clean. Loved spa in our room too.

Our room was clean with a change of towels 4 days into our 8 day stay. We paid for a late check out but we were locked out by about 10.30am having to get someone across from Mantra Heritage with new key cards. Reception very rarely had someone in attendance and two out of three times the black phone hasn't been answered including the day we arrived. The pool was great with a sunlounge always available.

I recently had the opportunity to stay at Mantra in the Village and unfortunately, my experience was less than satisfactory. While the hotel had its positive aspects, such as its convenient location and friendly staff, there were a couple of significant drawbacks that significantly impacted my stay. One of the main issues I encountered was the excessive noise coming from the next room. The walls seemed to lack proper soundproofing, and as a result, I could hear every conversation, TV show, and even the slightest movements from my neighbors. This constant disturbance made it difficult for me and my partner to relax and enjoy our time in the room. Despite bringing this concern to the attention of the hotel staff, no immediate resolution or alternative room was offered, which further added to our disappointment. Another aspect that contributed to my inconvenience was the lack of privacy in the bathroom. The design of the bathroom did not adequately separate the toilet and shower area from the rest of the room. This lack of privacy made it uncomfortable to use the facilities, especially when sharing the room with another person. Despite these setbacks I would like to acknowledge the hotel’s friendly and attentive staff willing to assist with any other enquiries or requests. The hotel had a convenient location which is another positive aspect.

I didn’t realise how central it is to everything - the beach, yoga, shops, cafes, restaurants, mariner. I felt safe, loved the room and the gorgeous wildlife that I could see everyday and night from my balcony. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the pool and shared BBQ area was perfectly positioned for sun and shade. Whilst in the pool area, I met lovely elderly folk, young families and 20-something party goers! It’s a place to stay for all ages. I’m so so pleased I chose Mantra In The Village and will definitely be back!
