The grounds are fair, although you can tell they're not paying much for the upkeep. Pool isn't bad but no frills either. Breakfast is one step above minimal.
I extended our stay only to find out afterwards that when booking through Expedia again, there is a $40 charge for the time between check-out and check-in for the two bookings. The manager made it a point to say we were informed upon check-in. No, we most certainly did not. We didn't even change rooms. Booking through the hotel is 40/night more than Expedia. We needed multiple days, and paying $120ish extra was not worth "saving money by booking with us directly".
On top of that my wife has a prescribed ESA animal from her Psychiatrist, and the cat can also tell when she's having heart problems and will bite her to keep her awake if I'm not around. The first stay was 5 days and it wasn't an issue. After the tense conversation upon recheck-in, a couple hours go by and we hear someone knocking. It was staff to tell us her doctor's letter prescribing the cat meant nothing, and that the ADA hasn't recognized cats as service animals since 2012 "And please pay your $25/day fee immediately for your 3 days. The only animals recognized as Service are dogs and horses......" Oh really......time to get us a pony.
This used to be my favorite place to get away from the rat race of life, but unfortunately has become a place where the customer's cash is worth more than it's owner and cares little of needs, or legitimate health issues
