"We had a fantastic stay at this cottage in Turkey Point. The inside has been beautifully renovated and was clean, modern, and very comfortable. The views of the lake were beautiful, and the location couldn't have been better. Everything was within easy walking distance, making it easy to enjoy the beach, shops, and the surrounding area without needing to drive. "Room was nice, bed was very comfortable. The lady at the desk, sorry I don't remember her name was very helpful as my husband and myself have mobility problems. Nick at the desk came and fixed our television as both my husband and I are not computer smart. Did not use the pool but went and had a look. Would probably stay again if we were in that neck of the woods. Thank you"

"What a delightfully unique spot! Each room in the house is filled with interesting items and conversation pieces. Lynne and Lou are wonderful hosts. We arrived early evening and enjoyed the bright and inviting salon and the very comfortable bedrooms. We had a lovely visit in the large, yet cozy, library after a delicious breakfast in the antique filled dining room. This gem is worth checking out!"

"Overall our trip was just ok and was disappointing I a few different areas. There were so some things the owner couple definitely improve on like making sure there was firewood, not just leftover scraps he didn’t use around the buildings, we had to email him and someone brought us wood. Plugging in the fridge knowing you had the bunkie rented( we drove 3 hours to a very small warm fridge), having the port-o-john beside us that looked like it was never cleaned out(not usable) , having a supply of toilet paper in the main washroom and shower area. The mattress should definitely be updated to something you don’t sink into would also be a bonus. Signage was also an issue to let you know where to go in the bush. They were to small and in bushes to see properly. I have camped my whole life and must say yes I was disappointed. Add indicated 15 minutes from town but more like 30. Just a bit more inconvenient when going to a festival."

"Was pleasantly surprised by the room we rented. Room number 1. Had a private washroom, fridge everything we needed for a 2 night stay at the beach. The bed could be a queen to give 2 adults a little more room. We were grateful for the air conditioner and coffee machine. They supplied a couple bottles of water, some granola bars which help when heading to the beach. Would be nice to have a patio door to go outside from the room but it was just a short distance to front door. The common area was pleasant but very stuffy and and damp but was told they just cleaned up after flooding so I'm sure a dehumidifier will solve the issue. Close to beach, right beside a great restaurant, parking right out front. Would stay again in room 1. The gentleman who helped us get to our room was pleasant and very helpful. Everyone was friendly."
