Perfect size for our family. Clean. Loved the location. Killed 2 snakes. One on pool gate and one at outdoor trash can area. Recommend foliage around these areas be cut back and some rid-a-snake treatment around the house. Pots and pans need to be replaced. Would recommend home to family and friends.

Beautiful home

Lovely home. Well appointed home, very clean and comfortable. The pool was beautiful and they provided lots of outdoor seating. Our only complaint was the late check in time of 5 pm and the early 10 am check out time. We felt like we lost those 2 days. I knew the boardwalk to the beach was long, but it was even longer than it looked in pictures. Be aware if you have family members that may not be physically able to walk that far. The elevator was a great help with the 3 levels in the home, but it was sad that a couple of our older family members couldn’t actually go on the beach. Overall, we loved our time spent at Stargazer.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family had a wonderful stay at Stargazer! October beach visits to this area never disappoint!! Having our own pool and being able to have fires on the beach were both so awesome!!! Everything was great, but there were several things worth mentioning, one being somewhat of a liability. That would be the uneven and sinking sections of pool decking both inside and outside the pool fencing. There are a number of trip hazards due to this and several in our group tripped on these pieces. Thankfully, when I did, I recovered before I hit the ground!! This is something that needs to be fixed!! Next, a number of the lamps throughout the house needed to be replaced as parts were loose, falling apart etc. There were also burned out bulbs in some lights in the house. Although there was a toaster oven, that we finally found in the cabinet above the refrigerator, a regular toaster would be a good addition. Lastly, although the house is "beachfront" it's a good walk to the beach and maybe that could be in the description for those less mobile than we are. All in all it was a great stay and we would definitely stay here again!!

Oh my goodness what a great lady to work with to set up our week at the Stargazer....Donna was so wonderful and we so enjoyed meeting her when we stopped by the office ! She is a huge PLUS to your Be My Guest organization! The Stargazer is a beautiful home with a great pool ! And...the elevator was such a bonus as we took “way too much” stuff ! Lol! We so enjoyed the beach and fishing too! We caught fish but did “catch & release” this trip! We ate a delicious seafood meal at Hunts, BBQ at the BBQ place on the Cape and had scrumptious pizza at Joe Mama’s in Port St.Joe..I can’t forget the 24 donuts we went and bought from the donut man on the Cape! Unfortunately we had rain while there with a tropical system in the Gulf but we played games and watched movies! All 5 of us would say to anyone wanting to have a fun week in a beautiful home .....Stay at the Stargazer! And make sure to ask for Donna when you book your stay!

Beautiful house in a great location. One of the best beaches I’ve been to in terms of shells. Water was a bit dirty, but that’s out of anyone’s control. The beach up the street at the state park is perfect if the dirty water bothers you. We had a great time and we all agreed we’d definitely come back.

Fun Labor Day weekend!

There was an ant invasion in house while we were there...needs to be sprayed. Wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful time at Stargazer for spring break. The weather wasn't ideal, but we still enjoyed our time on the Cape. We will definitely be back and we will always book through Be Our Guest. Their service was top notch!
