"Front staff was fantastic and very helpful. All porters were also top notch, knowledgeable and very helpful. Impressed. Stayed 3 nights and in-room complimentary items such as coffee and tea were not refilled. Disappointing breakfast as the staff was very loud on day 1 breakfast that "we had not paid and not on the list". We tried to clarify that we understood and gave our room number so we could pay on checkout but obviously a language misunderstanding as she continued to raise voice that we were not on the list. Made us feel very uncomfortable so we did not try breakfast there the next days. Odd. However, we do recommend the hotel and will stay again in the future."

"The property location is close to shops, restaurants, the Boqueria market. The staff is courteous and offer good service. The rooms are very spacious and clean. I travel a lot and have high standards with 4 stars hotels ratings. This is a 4 star old hotel that could use some upgrades. For instance the outlets in the room are at floor level so charging your phone, you have to reach under the desk or night stand to get to it. This should be at table level. The faucets in the bathroom are old fashioned. One faucet for cold and the other for hot. There are written instructions to turn the water on in the shower so that should tell you how old the hotel is. With that said, this can be overlooked because of the service and location."

"The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was nice and big and the hot water was working well. The air conditioner worked but was quite noisy and seemed to be held together with tape. Breakfast was okay, the scrambled eggs were overcooked and quite rubbery in texture unfortunately. The coffee was not good. The staff were very helpful and courteous at all times."
