“The host is very attentive and eager for you to enjoy your stay. We liked being in the country. The kitchen is well equipped and the property is very close to a big grocery store. I think this location gives you good access to nearby areas (Serra Mamede for example) well as the points of interest in Portalegre. We really enjoyed the textile museum. Aida provided us with jams, oranges, and croissants for breakfast. It was a nice stay.”

“Very unique place near (or perhaps in) the old Jewish quarter of Castello da Vide. The drive to get here is along the narrow streets of the town so best to have a mid size car or smaller. The property is neat! You have stairs but it adds tons of charm and character. Kitchen is terrific. Best part would be 1.) proximity to castle and Jewish quarter 2.) views from your window and patio!
