"Great stop heading up towards Calais "

"A surprise gem, slightly older hotel so unsure when we arrived but the staff are wonderful and the location is great, walkable (20mins down the hill and back up) to the town. A really pleasant stay."

"We chose and confirmed a room that specified a view of the harbor. This was not a request; this was the description of the room. When we checked in we were told that a harbor view room was not available.Our room had a view of only the backs of some old buildings. In addition. there was a large support column in the middle of the room combined with a sloping ceiling that blocked access to the right side of the bed."

"Great historic building and history, pity the restaurant has now closed but we were booked into the local excellent Bistro by the gate"
