“This is not a 4 star hotel, at the very least it’s a 3 star. A 4 star hotel won’t charge you a €10 fee to rent a pool towel. Yes I get my €10 back, that’s not the point. The rooms are seriously outdated, and the beds are twin beds pushed together to make a double. The beds sit low. A comfortable mattress would be greatly improved the stay. Let’s talk about the shower. I’m only 5’7”, 165lbs and I can’t turn around underneath the shower head to wash my back because the shower handle is so long my……

“This hotel is incredible. We didn't mind at all that it wasn't renovated. It was part of the charm. It was very clean. The breakfast was good, the staff was so nice. The pool is outstanding. The staff kindly gave us a balcony room on the end on the first floor which was sooo lovely. However, the only thing that would make me rethink staying here are the beds. They are hard. I read this before staying and thought it was an exaggeration. However, it is not. Also, the AC was loud at higher……

“The location is great, very close to shops, restaurants and the beach. It’s a very small hotel so there isn’t really anyone around most of the time especially in the evenings. We checked in around 7 and the staff member seemed annoyed by that as they wanted to get going, so make sure to check in closer to 4. There was also a few times we asked for things like a corkscrew and water and the same staff member seemed very annoyed by that, also ice is apparently not something that they’re able to……

Tout est pensé pour que vous n’ayez absolument rien à faire… si ce n’est vous détendre, profiter et prendre du plaisir. Et surtout, n’oubliez pas de réserver une table au restaurant de la plage… ainsi qu’un massage ! 😉💆‍♀️ Une vrai coin de paradis où l’on prend soin de vous du début à la fin. Que du bonheur !……

“Excellent Family holiday staying at Penina. Relaxing hotel with friendly helpful staff. Warm welcome on arrival with a glass of port and overview of the hotel. Really nice way to start our stay. Great facilities for kids and adults with tennis courts, jogging track, driving range, golf courses, large pool and multiple dining options. Played Championship course twice and enjoyed - greens, tees and fairways all in good order and great value for money. My son and I also had excellent golf……
