Lovely house with all the amenities of home. The front yard is surrounded by lush fruit- bearing trees and plants and the backyard is a quiet oasis complete with a tree swing. The freshly remodeled bathroom is clean and comfortable. The bedrooms are decorated with neutral colors for peace and enjoyment.

  • The California Condor was a common sight along the Columbia River in Lewis and Clark's day. By the early 1980's, there were only twenty-two left on the face of the planet, all in California. Today, thanks to a massive effort to re-populate the species via in-captivity pairing, there are some two-hundred members. But their recovery is far from assured. The Oregon Zoo has undertaken its own recovery effort whose ultimate goal is the re-introduction of the species into the protected wilderness area around the Columbia River Gorge. In short, to bring them home. For now, they live out their days in a vast, outdoor aviary designed specifically to mimic their habitat in the wild. If you have never seen one up close before, I urge you to come take a look. They are larger than any flying bird you will ever see, unless you go to Peru. And though black and white practically from head to toe, their plumage shines and reflects the light like dark, polished metal. If that doesn't suit your fancy, I will tell you that, as with all big birds, if you wait around long enough, they will do something so awe-inspiring that it will take your breath away, and something so goofy that you will laugh out loud. Super cute and homey!

One of the best rentals we've all ever had! Sadie was thoughful, organized, and provided a clean, relaxing, and cute place! 3 great bedrooms, remodeled bathroom, great decor, and set us up for a nice time. Three adults and a toddler, perfect spot. We will definitely stay again. Thank you!

The home was lovely, clean, and well kept! The location was private with a nice yard, but still near to stores/other needs. Beds were comfy! The host was very friendly and thoughtful, and had the home well stocked with any basic needs for the stay.

Perfect Home

My family of 6 thoroughly enjoyed this cozy home! We stayed during record breaking heat and the a/c units in the rooms kept the house comfortable. The backyard is amazing! Sadie is an amazing host. She was quick with communication, accommodating, and so kind. Staying here was truly home away from home for us.
