I didn’t realize (probably my mistake)that we would be sharing a bathroom with one other room, but they have it so well organized and nice an clean that it wasn’t a problem at all. Everything here is Super eco friendly and the kitchen is amazing and there is food for all dietary needs. I would totally stay here again, although maybe get the room with its own bathroom
This had a very homey feel, nice kitchen, well stocked with healthy and locally sourced foods. Beautiful living room area. Check-in and check-out was super easy!
Totally great stay with the location and quarters. The location is great for food and drink. My dear wife liked the background sound generator to counter the street noise before 11pm. After that when we returned to relax the counter noise generation was not needed. This is a well managed, clean, and comfortable place. Recommended.
Lovely remodeled old home. Immaculately clean. The Doug Fir room is not very big, fine for one person, but for 2 guests, the luggage might be in the way in the room. Sharing a bathroom was fine, there is only one other room that shares. The bathroom itself was very well supplied and appointed, lovely tile, etc. The kitchen and dining is large and very beautiful. Roomy living room to hang out in.
I was so pleased to come into such a beautiful space after a long day of traveling. The hotel is very well coordinated and everything is explained clearly, especially if English is your first language. There is wonderful attention to details and you are not left wanting anything. Communication was excellent with the owner before my arrival which helped tremendously as it was a last minute request during my traveling through several airports that same day.
I was a wee bit chilly during the night but I did have the option to turn on a space heater if I chose to do so. Also I was situated on a main road that being Friday was a bit noisy. However there were even earplugs available. And the snacks and breakfast were very very good! And kitchen and common areas are gorgeous. you just want to move in permanently.
The Alberta petite was amazing!! My boyfriend and I stayed for my birthday in the Maple suite. From check in to check out we loved our time. The maple suite takes up the entire basement and looks exactly like the pictures, plenty of space, extra pillows and blankets, towels. The owner was so suite sweet and helpful when we ran into her passing through. She even left me a little treat for my birthday in community fridge. Great location, walking distance to pine state and other cool bars and shops. Highly recommend !
I love that this is a detached house in a 'B-n-B' style. It's also in a cool and trendy neighborhood that isn't sterile like the big hotels close to the airport but is still only a few miles away. This is exactly how I wanted to complete my trip to Portland.
The home design & decor is modern, unique and beautiful! It was exceptionally clean which is especially important to me as it helps me relax and be more comfortable. Obviously, the accommodations are different than a traditional hotel situation, but it felt more personal and provided everything I could've asked for.
Lovely home. Inclusive vibe. Modern fixtures. Thoughtful touches galore. The home is also outfitted for adventure, with bike helmets and umbrellas in the closet. I stayed in the Bamboo room upstairs. The only issue was the heat in that room, as the A/C didn't circulate and even with the windows open it was quite warm. This would be easily fixed by having a decent sized fan in the room. I will book here again. Thanks for the memorable stay.
What a lovely little hotel! I love the mission statement and the welcome to all sorts of people. It's in a great area for walking to dinner and beer and is an easy trip to the airport. The breakfast is great and healthy. It's simply a lovely place!
There *was* an issue. Not something the hotel could control, and when I addressed it, they dealt with it the best they could. They didn't have to go the extra mile but did and I appreciate that.
Nice little bed and breakfast! Everything was great; staff communication regarding check-in, cleanliness, location, and self-serve breakfast. Will definitely stay again if the opportunity presents itself.
