Getaway w/mountain valley views just min. from downtown PDX. Nestled by Powell Butte nature park on a private hobby farm, the A-Frame is cozy 144 ft , double bed perched under the old growth Douglas Fir's, sunset views of Portland. Enjoy a semi-off grid locale forest bathing or in outdoor soaking pool in the clawfoot tub (swap to nearby hot tub in winter) and our rustic outdoor bath house and compost toilet . It sits in a Mt meadow near our yurt and cabin, own private bath. Glamp adventure! Enjoy our cedar barrel hot soaking tub by RSVP.

My husband and I loved our stay at Jesse’s place! We have never been anywhere like it. It was so adorable and bucolic. So cozy and one-of-a-kind. We would absolutely come back! Stay here if you are looking for a great and out of the ordinary nature experience!

Forest retreat

Secluded location forest A-frame. Very small, but clean and just what we needed for a night. The bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed the outside bathhouse experience. Will stay here again!

Stunning Getaway!

The A-Frame looked just like the photos, yet the photos still don’t fully capture the beauty and tranquility of the property. My partner and I had so much fun exploring the farm and feeding the goats and pigs in the morning. We loved that we felt like we were staying deep in the forest while knowing we had Jesse (who was amazing and super supportive btw!) close by if we needed anything and the city right at our fingertips.

Lovely mental getaway

I did a lot of hiking in Portland the day leading up to my slumber. I stayed in the A-frame just one night and I honestly slept like a rock there and enjoyed watching the sunset/ waking up to the sunrise. There’s a little space between the trees that gives you an excellent view of the sky. It helped me recenter and now has me yearning for a simpler little life. Thank you!

A beautiful experience

We had a wonderful time. The A frame is super cozy and great for a couples night out. You're in the privacy of the woods and even when it’s raining it’s beautiful. Loved the animals on the property too. They’re adorable.
