Bruna was great! Very courteous and helpful during our stay, with recommendations for restaurants, day trips etc. We really loved the room, the windows opened right up to the sounds of the Douro and birds. A fantastic stay we won't soon forget!

The hotel is in a great location with only eight rooms ,I believe. It has no immediate access for vehicles or parking so you will have to wheel your luggage to the entrance which is a short distance from the main road. Beside this minor inconvenience the staff is wonderful and will help with everything including your luggage from vehicle to room and back ! Special mention for Isabel at the front desk whom is very knowledgeable and a great person to talk to about everything ' Porto '.

Staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home and comfortable. Room had a fantastic view of the river and in a great location to restaurants and sites. Boutique vintage theme. Nice shower, comfy bed. Favorite hotel that we stayed in. I would definitely recommend and hopefully return to.

Room was gorgeous! Location is fantastic. Views were outstanding. Isabelle was fantastic and very friendly. However, the other staff were not as helpful. One person was supposed to put our bags in storage after we checked out but still had a few hours left to explore. We came back and everything was in the breakfast area where there was lots of foot traffic. Luckily we still had everything but things could have easily been stolen. Breakfast was overpriced and not regularly replenished. No staff in site managing the breakfast. Despite these few things would definitely recommend - just ask for Isabelle.

The hotel was in a great location by the river. The staff was helpful with restaurant recommendations and the breakfast was good. Would recommend this hotel to others I would let others staying here know that it is next to McDonalds on the water side as we had a little trouble finding the hotel at first
