Because our originally booked room was under renovation, the hotel moved us to two rooms on the same floor. There were five of us, so this actually gave us much more space and was very comfortable for our stay. The rooms were very clean and new, and the hotel staff were extremely friendly. Each room was also gifted a small bottle of Porto wine, which was a lovely touch. After we checked out, the hotel kindly stored our luggage for us as well. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel!

Very pleasant stay

Goncalvo was a terrific city guide and gave us a lot of good recommendations for sightseeing and was an excellent host. For our next visit we will stay here again also because of the central location.

Great location. Kind staff at the front desk. Free bottle of port was provided upon arrival. Some water damage on the ceiling in the shower, and water damage on the counter area around the bathroom sink. Otherwise a lovely room.

We stayed here for 3 nights with our 2 year old son. I specifically looked for a property with a kitchen, a crib, and a hotel that was walkable to many places. This had everything we needed, the room was very spacious, and there were grocery stores close by to keep our son’s food on hand. I absolutely recommend this place for families. The only negative I will mention is that the beds were very firm and a little too hard for our liking. So, just keep that in mind.

Nice friendly hotel in centre of Porto

The hotel is central to all attractions and there is easy access in & out of the building. The rooms are spacious and clean but the beds are very hard. Basic kitchen facilities including a fridge.

This place is absolutely lovely, good location, clean, and staffs are extremely friendly and helpful. Definitely will come back again when visiting Porto. The staff were efficient and quick to help me check in and check out. I thought I had lost my ring (it was in my purse the whole time…) and they offered to help look! The room is spacious and clean. It’s very easy to walk out and go to the metro or train stations. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family.

The Almada Wine House has high humidity (incl. mold). We could definitely not stay for health reasons. The manager was very helpful and organized quickly a flat in another building nearby that was eccellent (view on the city, quiet, spacious, etc). Thank you so much!

A great choice

Great location, plenty of bars/restaurants nearby, easy access to the Old Town etc. and the excellent nearby market. Had a great meal at one of the restaurants on the first floor of the market. Front of house was superb, explaining in great detail where to go/not to go, all set out on the map. Extremely friendly at all times.
