This property provided a great place for our group of 5 couples. Property is close to plenty of shops, restaurants and bars and not to far from the river district or train stations. The downstairs kitchen living area was a great space for us to relax after a day sightseeing and our Host, Luis, made our check in seamless. Rooms were fairly roomy and having them individually ensuited is an added bonus.

We spent 2 nights in this house with 3 couples. The property location in Porto was great, and an easy walk to many downtown restaurants and shops. Communication with the host Luis was great, and very prompt. The only drawback was the overall musty smell that the home has, most likely due to its age. It was okay for a couple nights, but it would have been more of a problem for a longer stay.

Excellent Apt in an Excellent location

The metro stop entrance is literally underneath the building. There is a wonderful cafe downstairs and a great grocery around the corner. This location was perfect for our group, easy to get downtown or walk downtown. Would definitely stay in this location again!

A great stay!

We had a great stay at Luis' place - the location is ideal for exploring the centre of town and Luis was a very accommodating host in terms of checking in and out. The aircon is excellent and there was plenty of space for our large group.

Beautiful property in a great location.

Two families, 12 total, and plenty of space. Property is in a great location, everything within walking distance or a quick Uber away. For those that don’t normally travel with cash, you’ll need to pay the hotel tax upon arrival, now 4/night, age 13.

Everything we wanted!

The location is top notch and the house is huge and spacious with plenty of privacy in each room/bathroom. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely book here again next time we are in Porto!

Great stay in a beautiful house

We loved having ensuite bathrooms for each bedroom. The house is beautifully renovated with a well-equipped kitchen. Great location walking distance to restaurants and shops. Our host Luis was great and well-informed.

This house was perfect!

We stayed for ten days as a group of family and friends and things were perfect! Great location and layout, and the on suite bathrooms were ideal. The owner was very responsive and helpful, and our stay was outstanding. Would definitely return.

Great other than unreliable aircon

Property was perfect for our needs other than unreliable aircon. A couple of the units immediately showed a P5/PS error on the first night and they were unable to fix before we left. Location great for exploring Porto. House had everything we needed. Local shops ideal for stocking up

Great place

Great location for exploring Porto and surrounds. Very spacious house with plenty of restaurants nearby. Also a small supermarket for the nights you want to eat in. The owner was very helpful and nice. We had a car and could park on the street if lucky or in a nearby parking garage.

Porto experience

The house had lots of spaces, which was nice for our group of 4. Everything was clean, well stocked and convenient. The rooms look fresher in the photos- we are suggesting an update in bedding would be a nice improvement as they were worn.

Great house and location!

This house and our host are fantastic. Very updated yet with classic charm. I stayed here with my 5 siblings and our spouses and everyone had their own room and bathroom. Kitchen is well appointed. Luis quickly responded to any questions or needs we had. There is a wine bar a few doors up the street in an old Chapel that is lovely too. We loved our waiter, Pedro!

Love the location of this place. Walking distance to many restaurants and shopping. Rooms were well kept, a bit on the older side but very clean. Each room has a washroom except for one which was an excellent feature for our group. Kitchen was functional and we were able to cook a few meals. Luis is very thorough and helpful abs responds to communications very quickly! I would definitely book this place again if I come back to Porto!

Excellent location

This property is right where you want to be in Porto. It is lovely home; there are wood floors everywhere and the bedrooms all have locks to each door as the house can be rented out by the room. As we were a large group, we were allowed to have the entire home to ourselves. There is a lovely tapas/ drinks establishment right next door which is excellent. Shopping very close by. We did have an issue with the heat in the basement but Luis did his best to fix it quickly. If location is your goal, this is the place for you in Porto.

Wonderful Location/Owner and Bedrooms - Beautiful Building

The only reason this wasn't five stars for me is that the common room is in the basement so we didn't really get together there very much, but we were out a lot so it wasn't a huge issue. The building is gorgeous, Luis allowed us an early check-in at no cost as no one else was in the house and the location absolutely could not have been better. Porto is one of the best trips of my life!
