We are delighted with having made the choice to stay at this exceptional boutique rental in one of the most beautiful neighborhoods of Porto.Our host was excellent. All communications were clear, efficient and always for family helpful.The apartment was in impeccable condition, very clean, comfortable and welcoming. With all amenities necessary. The neighborhood and the view were a perfect spot to explore and reside. We all were VERY happy with our choice.WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS RENTAL!

Beautiful View

Our stay was incredible from the moment we booked. Communication from the host was always prompt and very helpful. Valemtim met us at the apartment when we arrived to walk us through its amenities. The home is as well decorated, clean and comfortable as the pictures. We cooked breakfast every morning and had everything that we needed. My favorite part of the apartment is the incredible view of the neighborhood and water. Each morning I had my coffee looking out the window and at night I would open it to hear the sounds of the passersby. Absolute perfection!!

Merveilleux séjour

Magnifique appartement, idéalement situé pour visiter Porto. Excellente communication avec les prestataires du service. Nombreux restaurants à proximité, dont le fameux atelier de pasteis de nata juste en bas de l’appartement Aussi, Pizzarria Luzzo pour manger sur place ou emporter.

Excellent location, very nice apartment

This is a perfectly located apartment, close to plenty of restaurants, wine bars and attractions. Only a couple of blocks from the waterfront, 20 min walk to the Luis I bridge for sunset, close to the train station, with the 500 bus stop just a half block from the front door. The apartment is clean and stocked with everything you'd need to cook, but who needs to cook with so many great little places just steps from the front door. And the elevator was great! Best of all, the best Portuguese egg custard tarts are right next door at Castro. Best we tasted anywhere. Valentim met us at the door and shared recommendations - communications extra easy using WhatsApp. Highly recommended if you are coming to Porto!

Beautiful Apartment in Prime Location

We were 4 adults in our 60s. We loved the apartment. It was clean and very appointed. It had two nice size bedrooms and bathrooms, plenty of outlets and storage. The location was superb! It was upstairs from the best custard tarts! We had them every day! It had a view of Douro river but a few blocks away so not as noisy as being on river. It was very clean and i am picky. Check in was easy and communication great. Highly recommend this tental!

Great location

Place is great. Nice set up. We loved the location. Super clean. We could walk to everything. Comfortable beds. Restaurants close by. Awesome bakery right beside the entrance to the apartment. We only had one issue… there was construction going on that they worked on for 24 hrs a day. We were gone most of the days and evenings. But it was really loud at night. We noticed the host left ear plugs by the beds but if you are a light sleeper it was hard to get a good nights sleep. If the construction was not happening or was just happening during the day, I would give this a top, top rating. And I would stay there again when there is no more construction.

Condo in Porto

My husband and I and another couple stayed in this condo in Porto for 4 nights in early March. It was clean, comfortable and just what we wanted. Great views of the bustling street down to the river, but we heard no noise. Valentin met us there to let us in and answer any questions. He was very gracious even though we got lost and were later than we had predicted. Elevator to the 3rd floor very helpful. Place you could pull up in front to unload luggage and then we took car to parking garage a few blocks away. You don’t need a car in Porto, however. Very nice accommodations.

Great apartment for 3 days in Porto

We were 2 couples, staying for 3 nights. We loved the location and the space in this apartment. We were able to do 2 loads of laundry and the drying rack worked great. Good instructions for using the building access code, secure locks to the unit, and the safe in the apartment was useful.

Amazing Place, Great Location

Overall, this apartment is a fantastic place to stay in Porto. The apartment interior is incredibly well decorated and furnished. The bathrobes, slippers, and chocolate on the bed were really nice touches. In the near term, be aware of the metro construction which is going on literally outside the building (other reviews note this as well), but honestly, we didn’t think the noise was a problem - we closed the interior shutters in the evening and things were quiet enough. We were warned in advance that the construction is digging through granite; at around 8 AM every morning there’s an explosion as they break through. For entertainment, we’d watch the passersby on the streets with their hilarious reactions. We had one minor hiccup with the washer door lock which I’m sure will be resolved for the next guest given the responsiveness of the manager. Thanks for the unit during our really enjoyable visit to Porto.

Great property in Porto

The apartment was great. Views are amazing. The pictures and description are accurate. It's right in the middle of everything. The owners are a pleasure to deal with. Very responsive and knowledgeable. The only negative is the major construction right below the building. It's the expansion of the metro system that goes on all over the city. The construction goes on 24 hours a day. But when you close the windows and shutters, the sound is dampened a lot. Sounds like white noise. Owners have no control over it.

Fantastic on Every Level

This apartment in Porto is absolutely wonderful, and I highly recommend it. Joanna and her team could not have been more helpful and responsive. She arranged for us (my husband and I, plus my sister) to be picked up at the airport and to be met by her colleague at the apartment when we arrived. We LOVED the location, walking distance to everything. Tall ceilings, a great corner location with wrap-around windows in the living room area, and ample kitchen with modern appliances and everything you could possibly need. Two spacious bedrooms and two bathrooms -- it was perfect for the three of us and would also be perfect for two couples or a couple with children. There is construction going on next to the building -- they are building a new metro station, I believe -- so there is some noise. But you have double-paned windows, and if you close the wooden shutters at night (very important!) the noise will not bother you at all. Joanna recommended nearby restaurants, and we were very happy with her choices. Porto is a beautiful city, very welcoming to tourists, and we loved our stay at this comfortable apartment. Excellent check in process friendly property manager. Immaculate and had all necessities. Toilet seat in master bathroom needs some tightening. Construction noise across the street goes all night except weekends.

Great Apartment Loud Construction In Front

Everything was perfect until the metro construction noise from immediately in front woke us up at 3:00AM and continued through the night until dawn. We arrived on a Sunday and Monday was a civic holiday so no construction noise on these first two nights but Tuesday night was insufferable and we left on Wednesday but be warned that construction noise can definitely be a serious issue, impossible to sleep through it. We should have know it was bad when we saw the ear plugs waiting on bedside tables. A beautiful flat but beware of construction noise. It’s an issue all over Porto now so hard to escape the construction impact in the downtown core. We would come back once the construction is over.
