Mixed Review
Not so Good:
The photo of the exterior of the building is very misleading. It is NOT new and shiny like it appears in the photo. However, the rest of the photos are accurate.
It is small! A 2-burner hotplate, tiny refrigerator and just a few dishes.
The layout of the apartment is inconvenient. The spiral staircase to get to the bedroom and the bathroom, and then a ladder to get to the washer/dryer were a hassle.
There is one window in the apartment and that is on the second floor, so the living area is dark.
We understand that it is an old building but it smelled moldy and there were a lot of spiders.
GOOD:
Location was really good. Close to many good restaurants and a short walk to the river.
Owner was fantastic! She was very responsive and met us at the apartment for check-in. Plus she gave us a VERY nice bottle of wine! She gave us a list of recommendations that were really handy!
