The apartment is located in Nova de Gaia, across the river from Porto. The outdoor terrace off the master bedroom has a spectacular view of Porto and we very much enjoyed watching the sunset from there. The unit is modern, clean with all the amenities. The check process was smooth and the hosts were absolutely lovely!!!

Great apartment for the view alone.

Lovely apartment with a small, enclosed yard in the back and terrace on the water side. The view from terrace is phenomenal. Steep hills to climb but that's Portugal. Groceries and markets nearby. Make sure you read the parking info and look at the pictures regarding the parking. Don't forget cash to pay for the parking at the end of your stay.

Excellent location and hospitality

The hosts are so great and the location and apartment were both excellent. Only a small issue was the 2nd shower booth was too small but it was no problem to use the main. Other than that, everything was great.booth was so small but I had no problem to use the 1st sho

Great view from a clean and comfortable appartment

Het appartement voldoet aan alles. Goede communicatie met de eigenaars. Prima locatie met mooi zicht op de Douro en dé brug. Nette locatie. Goede bedden en badkamer. Het verkrijgen van de sleutel ging ook vlotjes. Helaas viel het weer wel een beetje tegen waardoor we bijna geen gebruik konden maken van het balkon vooraan of de zitplaats achteraan buiten. Het balkon vooraan is trouwens ook nogal luidruchtig want het appt ligt aan een drukke weg dus zo erg aangenaam is het niet om hier te zitten. Binnen heb je trouwens totaal geen last van het verkeer want de geluidsisolatie van deuren en ramen is prima. Tot slot nog een detail. Het enige minpuntje is dat je merkt dat dit appartment enkel voor verhuur gebruikt wordt en dat de eigenaars er nooit zelf hebben in gewoond. Je merkt het aan kleine zaken die ontbreken in het appt. zoals bvb een kapstok waar je binnenkomt om je jassen op te hangen, een paraplubak, een schaar in de keuken, een stopcontact aan de zetel om je pc of gsm in te pluggen. Het zijn allemaal kleine zaken die ontbreken en op zich niet erg zijn maar die wel anders zouden zijn op een plaats waar echt gewoond wordt (ik verbleef de dagen voordien in een appt in Lissabon waar dit bvb wel het geval was en dan merk je goed het verschil). Zeker geen dealbreaker!

Fantastic Stay

The location of the apartment is perfect. Just minutes to most of the Port Houses. Great views of the Porto across the water. The apartment was impeccably clean. Overall, I would highly recommend it to anyone as I had a great experience. Thank you!

Fabulous Douro/Porto View

We had a lovely stay. Apartment is in an excellent location close to many bars, restaurants and port lodges. Property was spotlessly clean and we loved the view from the balcony. The hosts very quickly responded to all messages we sent and allowed us flexibility with our check-out time. If I’m back in Porto I’d love to stay there again.

Great view to celebrate the new year!

Great location to watch the New Year’s Eve fireworks and bring the new year. Enjoyed the balcony with Luis Bridge and the Porto city view. Multiple modes of transportation within short walking distance. The host was was helpful in arranging a taxi to the airport. Would be helpful to have general information about the area - local restaurants and supermarkets recommendations and locations.

Vegan Patio Porto

We chose this apartment because of it's position and it could not be situated in a better place. The Pont Luis is at the bottom of the hill so both sides of the quay are easily accessible.The metro was at the top of the hill. The apartment itself was very comfortable. However there was no oven, dishwasher or washing machine all of which would have been more useful than the extra toilet during our 9 day stay. The hosts were easily contactable and check in was easy and uncomplicated. There was a lot of noise from a large building project a little further down the road so it was difficult to relax in the lovely garden room, but that will not go on forever. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
