“We were a bit confused by this hotel. This is a luxury boutique hotel that didn’t really feel like a luxury hotel. The staff were nice which is expected but didn’t go out of their way for us. The location is excellent and our room had a beautiful view of the Portofino piazza but the windows all had signs saying “please keep windows closed”. Our room furnishings were standard. The hotel is very loud. We were above the restaurant and could hear the music all day and we could hear people in the……

“Apartment was a good size. NO air conditioning but temperature was fine in mid September. Owner refused to give us more than a few rolls of toilet paper which led to us rationing…”

“Location and size were perfect. That’s it for anything good. In all our years of traveling we have never stayed in a filthier hotel. The putrid stairs and doormat were the first warning. Between the 2 beds was a clump of hair. Beside the bedhead was accumulated old dust. The shower had something unspecified on the drain. as I showered, my foot rubbed dirt off the floor. There was fluff in the loungeroom. With bare feet the floors felt dirty. There is no air conditioning, the 2 fans supplied……

“Beautiful room with a great view over looking the bay. The spa was awesome, the service throughout the hotel was spectacular and the breakfast had a great variety of food to choose from to start your day. Would definitely stay there again.”

“Excellent gem tucked away up in the mountains. Be cautioned, it’s a bit of a narrow road that leads to the property. Amazing front desk staff, as well as a gentleman named Pana who helped us with our luggage. Beautiful views everywhere, room was spacious, modern and well appointed. Did not try the restaurant for dinner, breakfast was good. Pool staff was not super friendly and the menu options could be expanded a bit. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and will be back!”
