「The outside of the building is dated, as to be expected. The rooms were modern, extremely clean and the bed was super comfortable. All of the staff were extremely warm, yet professional. I would stay here again.」

「A kick ass stay in a unique place. Staff was great, amenities and location are prime. My only beef is on the hot days the AC can’t keep up and on 3rd floor it was reading 80 degrees. I still highly recommend and would stay again. 」

「The accommodation is located in a charming historic building in a great vibrant village-like town. The interior space has a mid mod vibe, and is spacious, and easy to use. Had a nice dinner, as recommended, a nice walk to the waterfront and a nice ice cream. Pretty perfect! 」

「To tell you the truth I didn’t want to stay at an i have had bad experiences at a few inns in the past. But the Martin Inn has changed my mind from the gardens to the room the Martin inn is far above any inn I have stayed at in the past and it is not that far of a walk from downtown Portsmouth. The Martin inn has off street parking in the back as you walk to your room you go through a wonderfully kept garden which made my wife jealous.
