“The host was communicative and responsive. The initial directions were a bit unclear, but the host promptly responded. However, it is a basement apartment and the sole egress was blocked by what appeared to be some sort of HVAC unit. Additionally, the electricity appeared to be a bit rigged as there were adapters plugged into surge protectors. At one point the breaker tripped, but it was handled expeditiously. “This was such a cute place to stay! It was perfect for my family and me. We drove some and used Uber when needed, which made getting around easy. Washington, D.C. is such a beautiful city with so many things to see and do. We hope to come back again someday. Thank you for being such wonderful hosts. “Our family found this home to be a perfect home base for our stay in Alexandria. We were in town to attend a memorial service for my father at Arlington National Cemetery, and this was the perfect location: a quiet neighborhood, convenient to shopping and restaurants, and only a few minutes to Arlington. “Everything was great, as described.”

“Parking was at a premium. If renting a car, good luck finding a place to park it. The property had an "old" smell upon entering. There was no empty storage for our things for a multi-day stay. We were also bitten many times by some insect, most likely in bed.”

“Super cute rental. It was updated and modern. The bed was very comfortable with luxury bedding. The owners were really nice and helpful. Only two blocks from the Metro station so we didn't need a car. The neighborhood had many local places to eat and several grocery stores nearby. We will stay here again if we return to DC. ”
