“We selected this property because of the location, and because it looked perfect for 2 people with no pets. The photos of the unit are very nice, but they did not do the property justice. It was beautifully designed and absolutely immaculate. The bed is very comfortable. Our host thought of everything to make her guests feel comfortable and welcome. The neighborhood is safe and walkable, and it is a short drive over the bridge to the best of the outer banks. We will definitely make a return……

“This room was across the beach road so there was no ocean view. It was just a short walk to the beach. Room was nice and seemed recently updated. There was a mini fridge and microwave in the room. The room was clean and had plenty of open space to move around.The staff were friendly and amazing. They welcomed pets with no pet fees. Would stay there again.Would recommend Mia's to everyone looking for a nice inexpensive hotel on OBX.”

“They did a great job renovating the Tar Heel motel. Clean, comfortable rooms. Bring K-cups with you if you are a big coffee drinker and don’t pack heavy. This is the best of old school Outer Banks, reminds me of when my parents would take us to OBX in the 70’s staying at the Beacon.”

“We had an ocean front room with the historic wood paneling. It was charming and comfortable. I loved having the ocean access.
The only complaint came from my teenage companion. She was surprised at the lack of outlets for charging her many electronic devices. Myself, this was to be expected and I didn't stress over it!
I will definitely stay here again when visiting the OBX. Thanks so much!”

“Loved the breakfast, room was clean although a little beat up. Beach view was from the side window and not front view from a balcony. This is how the hotel was built. Over all, we would stay again.
