Our comfortable and quiet family-friendly *** apartment offers you a relaxing vacation in a natural setting near the forest. It features a beautiful panoramic view from our home to the Arber. The apartment is on the first floor, with a terrace, and measures 100 m²—accommodating 2 to 6 people. It’s ideal for families with children, but also for seniors. The apartment features a fully equipped kitchen, offering all the amenities of self-catering accommodations, a cozy living room with satellite TV, 2 triple bedrooms, a large bathroom with 2 sinks, a bathtub, a shower, and a separate toilet—making it an ideal vacation home. There’s plenty of outdoor furniture to invite you to relax, a barbecue area, and the covered patio invites you to enjoy a cozy get-together in a relaxed atmosphere. With nearby excursion destinations, hiking trails, and bike paths, you’ll find plenty of leisure activities right here. Hospitality is very important to us. Hiking, Nordic walking, and day-trip destinations: our vacation region is especially well-suited for hikers, those seeking relaxation, and families. Beautiful hiking trails—also suitable for Nordic walking—are available, as well as cycling opportunities on a fairly flat bike path just 3 km away. there are fishing opportunities at Black Rain and Höllensteinsee, as well as canoeing, outdoor pools, nearby indoor pools, and a forest swimming area for nature lovers. We’re happy to go on excursions with our guests. Trips to Bad Kötzting, Cham, Straubing, Bodenmais, Zwiesel, Passau, Regensburg, and the Czech Republic are always worthwhile. There are good shopping opportunities. and sights to see in these places, e.g., glassworks, schnapps distillery, toy museum, forest museum, glass barn, Aegyrian vaults, Großer Arber, the large and small Arbersee lakes, Kaitersberg, Osser, Rachel, Lusen, and the Bavarian Forest National Park. Forest, wilderness campground, wilderness lodge, open-air museum, Tittling Farmers’ Museum, Pullman City in Eging am See, glass museum, animal park, forest nature trails, summer toboggan runs, …

Winter sports: In St. Englmar, Markbuchen, Grün, and the Pröllergebiet, the nearest winter sports destinations, cross-country and alpine skiing are available. The Geißkopf area offers optimal conditions for winter sports. Bodenmais, Silberberg, and the Arber region also attract visitors with winter sports, as does the Hohe Bogen in Lamer Winkel. You can go sledding right here, and curling and ice skating are available at the Schwarzer Regen and Höllensteinsee. The ice rinks in Regen and Deggendorf also offer excellent opportunities for winter sports. Hiking through snow-covered landscapes or a leisurely torchlight hike round out your winter vacation. You might also be interested in a sleigh ride, which can be booked in St. Englmar or Drachselsried. Ice skating is available at the Regen ice rink.
