Nice stay

The room was very spacious. The facilities are a bit dated, but everything is well kept and in good condition. Staff were super friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was generous, and both lunch and dinner were quite good too. A big plus is the shopping mall and food court just behind the hotel, which makes things really convenient. The hotel isn’t in the city center, but Prague’s public transport is excellent — it only takes about 30 minutes to reach the Old Town. Overall, it’s a great value-for-money option.

It’s very near a shopping mall so you can spend your afternoon there if there is heavy snowing in winter. The room is a bit old but it’s still acceptable as you have everything you need and the staffs are nice.

Sauberes Zimmer, gutes vielfältiges Frühstück, kleiner aber feiner Wellnessbereich mit kleinem Schwimmbad, finische Sauna und Dampfbad. Auch ein Fitnessstudio gehört dazu. Der Wellnessbereich ist in der 24.Etage und kostet 275 kč /h oder 495 kč /Tag. Bei einigen Zimmern ist der Aufenthalt im Wellnesszentrum im Preis includiert.

Great hotel in a quiet location. 150 metres from Pancrac metro station which is 4 stops from the centre of Prague. Clean and spacious rooms. Melanie on reception was very helpful and all staff I met were friendly.

Room was OK, clean. However bed matress seen a better times. Too soft and out of shape. Breakfast was ok, good choice. Terrible check-in. Came later evening, tired after a busy day.. while checking in i was asked to give my credit card authorisation as a safety measure to cover potentional minibar consumation. And if not, they wont check me in. WHAT THE HECK is that? This is just unacceptable in a 4 star hotel! Plus they charge you 595CZK (approx USD30) just for one night parking. That is just ridiculous. Next morning during the checkout i complained to the hotel manager about my medicore check-in experience. At the beginning he played like the card hold is a normal safety measure, later he admitted that the desk clerk did not the best job and failed in communication. Later then I got my parking fee reimbursed as an excuse. But no matter what, this kind of service is just unacceptable in this class of hotel. Stayed in many higher class hotels around the world and was never asked to pay a safety fee for a minibar consumation

Der Empfang war beeindruckend. Man fühlt sich hier als Gast willkommen und wohl. Das Hotel Panorama liegt nur 5 Minuten Gehzeit von der U-Bahn Station Pankrác (rote C-Linie)entfernt, wo in Zukunft die neue blaue D-Linie beginnt /endet. Die Lobbybar im Eingangsbereich hat bis Mitternacht geöffnet und bis 23:00 Uhr kann man hier Essen bekommen. Alles ist sauber und luxuriös. Im 24.Stock gibt es einen kleinen Wellnessbereich mit Swimmingpool 10x4,5m, Dampfbad, Sauna und Fitnessstudio. Von hier hat man einen "Panorama - Blick" auf Prag! Für Hotelgäste kostet hier die Stunde Aufenthalt 270 kč pro Person und für den ganzen Tag 495 kč, wenn nicht bereits im Zimmerpreis inclusive. Der Swimmingpool ist von Montag bis Freitag ab 06:30 Uhr geöffnet und am Wochenende ab 07:00 Uhr und jeweils bis 22:00 Uhr. In der 1. Etage gibt es das Frühstücksrestaurant Bohemia wo es täglich von 06:30 Uhr - 10:00 Uhr (Samstag und Sonntag bis 10:30 Uhr) ein leckeres Frühstück in Buffetform serviert wird.

An overall lovely hotel. Staff were all friendly and welcoming, greeting you with a smile at all times. The room was a good size, a lovely comfy bed, initially pillows were fluffy and not the most supportive but the staff were happy to provide firm pillows on request. The breakfast was a nice selection that varied day-to-day, but could become a little repetitive after a few days (a problem at any hotel though!). All food was well cooked and of good quality The spa was wonderful, great sized pool, jacuzzi, gym, sauna and steam room and a great place to unwind with views of the city. The hotel is showing its age a little in places, but this is mainly just little aesthetic touches like little dinks or wear. Overall I’d happily stay again.

In general, the hotel was very nice and attractive. The food was really good and the cocktails were nice as well. Nonetheless, there were a few things that were not nice completely. One of them is that the hotel is smoke free, outside of the hotel have signs that says so, but you also can see at least 2 or 3 different people smoking right in front of the door (I'm not exaggerating, one step away from the door, a few times I had to say, "excuse me" for the person to move), which for someone with asthma is not very convenient and nobody from the hotel said anything. Another thing it was the pillows, I couldn't sleep properly all the 5 days, the size of the beds are fantastic but the pillows are horrible. And the last thing it was how slow they were in serving food, it took a while to get served. The food was very good is the amount of time that took in arriving. Probably all those things you don't notice them when you stay for one or two days but after that you start paying attention.
