It’s very close to some of the island’s best beaches, such as Praia do Bode and Boldró, the latter just a 5-minute walk away. It’s also only about a 10-minute ride from the main square, where you’ll find the largest concentration of bars, restaurants, and shops, though there are also a few options within walking distance. "This pousada is not fit to receive guests. The staff did what they could. There were bed bugs on both beds. The owner tried to place another guest during my last two days or else they would charged me R$2000 extra. The level of greed is unbelievable. The toilet was blocked for the last two days, only one attempted to unblock a day before my departure but it was still blocked when I left. I paid higher for the nights then average but got scammed. It was the first time I did not chose separately...

"Fair staying for the price, the crew is very supportive. They missed room service on sunday, wi-fi was charged an extra fee, the room is clean but very small, cable tv has the top package, and we were allowed late check-out for free. Location was very good, walking distance to Boldro beach. Like I wrote, it was fair but I probably would not come back."

"Cute and well located inn, with very friendly service. Excellent restaurant (Xica da Silva) and convenience store just down the street. You are quick taxi ride to all beaches so there is no need to rent a buggy. The mattress and pillows were covered in rubber protective casings which was odd. There is no WiFi or cell signal at this pousada or on the island, so be ware of being stuck without internet. All in all, this is a nice bed and breakfast but is too pricey for what you get."
