Maison de charme Villa Mavi in Praiano on the Amalfi Coast.
An oasis of peace and relaxation for those who want to spend a vacation on the Amalfi Coast with family or friends. Spectacular view of the sea, private parking for 30 euros per day, wifi, air conditioning and a small pool for relaxing open from April to October. Well-kept gardens and a large outdoor area with sun loungers, umbrellas, table and chairs and a barbecue.
The villa has three double bedrooms with private bathroom with shower. Living room with two small additional beds that can be opened and a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, fridge and everything useful for cooking on your own. Service bathroom with washer and dryer. Safe. From the terrace down through the stairs down to the sea. Staff on site, for excursions, trekking, typical dinners in the villa, cooking school, boat trips, wine tours and mozzarella tours.
Assistance during the stay with staff in English.

Praiano Getaway.

My friends and I spent a week enjoying the magical view of the Mediterranean! Praiano is the perfect location on the Amalfi Coast as it close enough to Positano and yet far enough away to experience the ‘real’ Amalfi! and less hustle bustle. Our host Gerry was super friendly and easy to communicate with. The accomodation is exactly as listed, ticked all the required boxes, clean and very lovely Italiano styled! The kitchen could double as a ceramic shop, which was lovely to utilise for our alfresco dining on the patio. The pool was a welcome treat after a days exploring or the Path of the Gods, as was the easy access to the Praiano Marina situated directly down the stairs from the apartment. Would I stay again… absolutely, I’d highly recommend this accommodation.

Amalfi Paradise

The perfect spot for a quieter stay on the Amalfi. The view is breathtaking with a beautiful large outdoor area to enjoy. And, your own Amalfi lemons to pick! The accommodation offers ample space for 4 adults and 2 children. However, there are opportunities for enhancement in terms of amenities. For instance, while an iron was provided, an ironing board was lacking. There were a limited number of wine glasses available, and additional kitchen essentials such as tea towels are needed. The pillows were noted to be quite firm. All of this is outweighed by the stunning outdoor area and pool overlooking the Amalfi Coast.

All about the view!

My family truly enjoyed our 3 day/3 night stay in Praiano. Guilia was excellent to work with. She setup reservations, drivers, boat excursions ect. We were very happy with her service. We had to meet Jerry to let us into the house. He first contacted me without clarifying who he was and asked if I wanted to pay 10€ per bag. I had no idea what he was talking about. When we arrived, we found out that we would have to take our luggage 80 steps down to the Villa. That is why they offered $10 per bag for luggage transfer. He was annoyed that I had not reserved someone. He then quickly reviewed the house, emphatically told us that check out was at 10 AM. He gave a quick review of what to do with trash, which was a very confusing ordeal. He also pushed making a reservation with a restaurant he could get us 10% off. At checkout we was much nicer. Offered us a later checkout, which was to late, since we already had a driver there to pick us up. Two things about the villa. Does not come with basic amenities, toilet paper, Olive Oil etc and each room has an aromatic fragrance. It was so strong that it gave us a headache so we placed them outside. All in all, we had a great time, Guilia was extremely helpful and totally loved the view!

Amazing Rental

Upon arrival the villa location and view is outstanding. There are many steps (150) that must be navigated to get down to the villa as well as down to the ocean but worth the view and location. The villa photos are exactly as the villa appears. Beautiful terrace with plenty of outside furniture. The view both day and night is spectacular from the terrace. The small plunge pool was greatly appreciated on the hot days we had. The interior of the villa is nicely decorated. The kitchen has everything you need and more. The bedrooms and bathrooms were all very nice. Parking and driving is not recommended for those who are not aggressive drivers. It is quite an experience. The small restaurants located just below the villa on the beach are very convenient and reasonable priced. The food was outstanding at these restaurants as well. It is walking distance to a food market and shops as well as more dining experiences. Bus stop is close by as well plus taxi's, and water taxi's are available. The only con I feel is unneccesary is the parking fee of 30 euros per day. This cost should be included in the rental fee since there is a parking space already provided for the villa. Seems a bit overkill to charge renters for an additional fee. Overall our experience was delightful and one of the best vacations we have had in awhile.
