The room was fine with a comfortable bed. The one real thing that bothered me was a safety issue. The outside door that requires your key card leading into the area where the rooms were was broken and would not close properly. Being a single traveler and not knowing the area left me feeling a little uneasy knowing that anyone could come in off the street and no one would know they were there.

We booked online and then stopped at the desk to get our rooms. Even though I called ahead and asked for early check-in, she said that I was an hour and a half early. When we went to our room, we couldn’t get the door open with either key. I went back to the front desk and she instructed me to pull the door and lift up, so after several attempts, we were able to get the door open. The rooms smelled very musky, there was a spider in the sink and bugs on the bathroom floor. When I went back to the front desk and told her we were not staying, she clicked her nails on the statement on the counter that said “all sales are final”. We will not return to this property.

Very dated, but overall clean. Plunger in bathroom for a reason. I’m not necessarily saying that the sheets weren’t changed, but suspicious especially when I could tell the floors had not been cleaned properly. No coffee the two days there. Staff seem reluctant to assist (maybe a bad day). I’ve stayed here several times, but last two times seems different and almost dreary. I believe it’s time to move on even tho the price is very reasonable.

I liked that it was quick and painless to reserve, and the owners were residents, and friendly. The room was clean. Some of the common areas are apparently being renovated. They're fun spaces with lots of potential. I wish them well and hope they prosper.

Dead insects everywhere in the room, dirty sheets, dirty fridge, black specks in the sheets (which is a sign of bedbugs, though I only saw dead insects on the floor). One of the doors kitty-corner to me had been busted open and wasn't sealed off or fixed. Left to find another place to stay for the night.
