“Great location for historic sites or Shenandoah national park. Host is very responsive, great spot with plenty to keep you busy when you've finished for the day. Great set of games, pool, ping pong, puzzles, arcade games, snacks, coffee. Enjoyed the stay and will be back if we're in the area.”

“We took our 18 yr old here on a trip of Virginia and NC. This house was perfectly located for the hikes and tubing activities we wanted to do. Skyline drive was cool even though it was foggy and drizzling on and off all day. Into Charlottesville one day for tubing on Rivanna river. So glad we have the washer and dryer. Super clean and had extra things like kleenex, coffe and shampoo. Really felt like home. ”

“Great place to get away for peace and quiet”

“What a view! We enjoyed our stay at 3100 feet. It was worth the ride on the unpaved path to the top! We had a comfortable and peaceful time, staying very comfortably at the top of the world. Hosts are lovely and friendly. Had car trouble, and the nearby car repair helped us while we waited. Loved our place! Thank you!”

“Fantastic stay for Shenandoah hikes. Make sure to shop before hand because grocery and gas are quite far, but the property is beautiful and has many little critters running about near the main clubhouse (i.e., kitties of many kinds and a massive duck as well). The grill is a George Forman but it still worked as well as we needed for basic hot dog and burgers for dinner. Overall great experience and will absolutely book again if we return for more hiking!”

“Amazing experience! Everything was clean and so well stocked. The kitchen had everything little that we needed for our stay! The host stopped by to welcome us and was very kind. Beautiful area and not too far from charlottesville where we were attending a concert. Would definitely love to come back to the area and spend some more time here and when we do I would definitely book here again! Or maybe we’ll end up re locating to the area in a few years! ”

“Everything was pretty much exactly what we expected. No major issues with the cabin, nice views, quiet location & dog friendly (huge plus!)It was the perfect size, they had plenty of dishes in the kitchen & some seasonings to use. A few pans looked like they weren’t cleaned all the way but we just rewashed them before use, no big deal. Huge dvd selection was awesome! Water pressure in the shower was nice & bed was comfortable. The only thing that could have used some improvement was the lighting……

“Enjoyed everything about this place! Spectacularly clean. Comfy beds. Great gathering spaces indoors and out. Close to everything in the region. Fabulous evenings at the fire pit after grilled dinners in the deck. Completely hassle free entry. Everything works. Exactly as pictured/described !!”

“This was the perfect getaway for us and our dogs. It has all the amenities we could want for relaxing in a serene mountain home. Our dogs had plenty of room to run around, especially since the house is at the end of the road and you don't have to worry about cars. We spent a lot of time out on the porch enjoying amazing weather and sunsets! We definitely want to come back soon ”
