Peaceful Catskill Mountains Cabin

Welcome to our cozy home in the heart of the Catskill Mountains. If you are looking for a peaceful and quiet getaway, you've come to the right place.

Our home is completely private, with no neighbors in sight, the perfect place for relaxing, unwinding and enjoying time off in the mountains. It sits on a tranquil cul-de-sac, on private 6+ acres of pristine Catskills forest. The road in front of the house is rarely travelled, only people who live down the road drive here. You will be lucky to meet anyone. You will wake up in complete peace - or perhaps to the sounds of birds and squirrels only.

This is our sanctuary away from the busy life and we have everything you need to switch off. The house features 3 bedrooms on the main level - a master suite with king bed and a private bathroom, a second bedroom with a queen bed, and a third bedroom with two twin beds. The main level offers large open plan living room, a kitchen, dining table for 6 and a kitchen island to enjoy a meal or coffee.

The living room has vaulted ceilings and skylights, a wood-burning fireplace, cozy armchairs and a sofa that are perfect for doing nothing, or reading your favorite book.

The double sliding doors open to the large deck - you can sit back, relax, enjoy drinks, dinner, or just watch the stars at night. We have a beautiful wrought iron dining table and a lounge area with comfortable cushions and pillows. Gas and charcoal grills are available for outdoor cooking, and at the other end of the deck we have some reclining chairs in case you want to spend time stargazing with a special someone.

The yard next to the house is fenced. We have a beautiful custom fire pit with Adirondack chairs where you can enjoy a campfire, roast marshmallows and a have a great conversation.

The fully furnished lower level is our entertainment and play room with comfortable sofas for seating and lounging. We have a smart TV if you want to watch your favorite show. It is perfect for those days when you want to have fun inside: we have a full sized pool table that also converts into a ping-pong table, an electronic dart board, plus Nintendo Wii with plenty of games and four controllers. In the corner you can find books and board games. There's a third bathroom too. Double sliding doors open to the lower backyard.

The Catskills has so much to offer: great hiking, climbing, mountain biking, fly fishing, cross country and downhill skiing in winter, kayaking, canoeing and other outdoor activities are all within a few minutes from the house. We have recommendations for every type of activity and of course we have a list of great bars and restaurants in the area for you to consider. Hunter Mountain, Windham Mountain and Belleayre ski resorts are all about 15-20 mins by car, offering plenty of activities. You can ski, snowboard, snowtube, bike hike or just do nothing if that's what you like.

The house really has everything... a full kitchen and all amenities, including pots, pans, plates, glasses, baking needs, all utensils and all appliance - dishwasher, oven and range, fridge with freezer, coffee maker, Keurig machine, toaster, blender, a slow cooker and even a bread maker. We provide all towels and linens, toilet paper and the likes. If you have small kids, we have a travel crib and an adjustable high chair available. We also have utensils and plates and bowls for small kids.

We have whole house wi-fi with reliable high speed internet. And lastly, we also have an automatic stand-by generator with its own separate power source, so we are never without power.

For EV owners we are now able to offer a level 2 EV charging capability rated at 40 amps so you can have your car always charged during your vacation.

Our check in process is completely seamless and contactless: we have a smart lock and you will receive a code valid for your stay.
