Mountain Cabin Retreat in the Pines
Summary:
Welcome to your secluded, peaceful cabin nestled in the ponderosa pines with the convenience of Downtown Prescott/Whiskey Row less than 4 miles away. Enjoy the quiet neighborhood while watching plenty of wildlife from the 3 private decks that offer amazing views. Unwind with a beverage on the largest deck, cozy up to the fire table, or have a morning coffee on the upper level deck up in the trees. We allow dogs and many Prescott eateries have dog-friendly patios where you can dine together.
The Space:
There is a foosball table, cornhole boards, and shuffleboard located in the garage for some friendly competition. Make memories playing provided board games or unwind by streaming a movie or favorite show from Firestick and Chromecast. Play some X-box or use it to watch a DVD from our movie library.
The kitchen is fully stocked with all the amenities including coffee maker and coffee, 4-slice toaster, large electric griddle, pots and pans, dinnerware, silverware, blender, glasses, wine glasses, and crockpot. There is an outdoor Weber grill and grilling utensils.
Enjoy the close location to famous Downtown Prescott/Whiskey Row with their unique and fun restaurants and shops, live music, and year-round events and festivals. Prescott is also home to the World’s Oldest Rodeo and numerous outdoor trails with the beauty of large granite boulders, lakes, mountains, and pines.
While the cabin is easy to locate and drive to, please note it is located on a steep driveway and slightly steep walkway to the front door which is how you get those amazing views!

This is a lovely cabin situated in the pines so you feel remote but it's only minutes from downtown Prescott. The best part for us was the deck with the firepit. It was so relaxing to sit around the firepit, enjoying the sounds of nature and seeing the deer and wild turkeys come by. Beautiful bluebirds flew around and we heard sounds of many other birds in the trees . The stars at night were spectacular and we were lucky to be there with a half moon. The cabin itself was clean, charming and had all the amenities we needed. Although we didn't use it, it was nice having access to a washer and dryer. There are steep stairs up to the deck and to the upstairs bedrooms, as the hosts disclosed in the description so that could be challenging for some. We went over Labor Day weekend, so were able to enjoy the fair at the courthouse square and then escape the crowds by returning to the cabin. Finally, we really appreciated that it was pet friendly. Our dog loved meeting the local deer and spending time in the pines. We would definitely return.

Amazing and pet friendly.
Tom and I have stayed in many rental units and this one had everything to make us and our two friends feel at home. We have never stayed in such a divine place. We lacked for nothing! Wildlife in abundance: deer, turkeys, javelina came to say hello every day. The only awareness others need is that the property access is steep, as described, We availed ourselves of table shuffleboard and hung our dartboard in the garage. This place has an amazing collection of games for all ages. Pet friendly was obvious. Definitely on our "return to" list. Get hosts!

Birthday getaway
We had such an amazing weekend at the cabin. Woke up to see wildlife and snow out the big picture windows! The house was so comfortable, clean and had absolutely everything we needed that made it feel like home. Loved the record player and all the games! The cabin was clean and just as described. There was plenty of room to spreadout. Great windows to enjoy the beautiful location and wildlife. The bedrooms were nicely decorated and the beds were comfortable. We were there for 3 days and would have loved to stay longer. We would gladly stay here again. Great Property

Perfect for my family
My kids and I, along with my mom, just wanted a couple days to enjoy Prescott and take it easy. This place was perfect! The games in the garage area kept my kiddos entertained for hours. It was awesome to sit out on the upstairs deck, or by the big kitchen windows each morning, sipping my coffee, and watching the deer and wild turkeys come through the yard. It’s far enough in the pines to feel like you’re away from it all, but still just a quick drive to all that Prescott has to offer. We would definitely stay here again!

Relaxing home in nature - perfect for a family getaway!
This was the perfect spot for our family getaway. The house had everything we could have wanted. We were able to spend our time on one of the many decks, watching the herd of deer graze in the front yard during the day and enjoying the starry sky at night. The house was spacious yet cozy. We played cards at the dining room table, watched a movie on the giant TV, and walked around the beautiful area. The location was perfect - close to hiking spots and not far from the shops and restaurants of downtown Prescott. The hosts were communicative and the rental was clean and well-appointed. We are so glad we chose this house for our mini-vacation.

Great property with lots of wildlife
We loved this property. It was clean, bright and inviting. Most of our time was spent on one of the decks watching wildlife and relaxing--we called it the daily deer parade! There were 5 in our group (and two dogs) and there was ample room for all of us. The owners were super responsive to my messages (nothing was wrong with the house, just a few questions about location of a few items--if I would have read the manual I wouldn't have had to ask :) Great proximity to downtown Prescott. We loved this place so much that we are looking to buy in the area.

Awesome nature!
We loved this great mountain cabin! Beautiful views and super fun cute town! Cabin was very comfortable, clean, relaxing and plenty of room for us. Walking around was wondering and we have never seen so many deer, wild turkeys, and a few Javelina’s. The hosts were the best! Highly recommend this place for just a couple or a few families. You won’t be disappointed. We will be back in the future for sure! ❤️👍. Book it!

Nice mountain feel
Loved our stay. The house was well stocked with linens, kitchen items and nicely decorated. The beds were comfy and the houses was clean. We enjoyed hanging out on the decks with the fire pit, tables and couches. The house was in a great location for all our activities in the area and we love Prescott! The driveway is an adventure, a little challenging pulling in and backing out. Thank you for being dog friendly and thank you for sharing your home with us.

Perfect in Prescott
We really enjoyed our stay at this great getaway in Prescott! Location is awesome… gives the feeling of being miles from town when you are actually only minutes away. So you get the best of both worlds. A comfortable cabin in the woods with all the amenities you need, but if you forget anything you’re a quick drive to the store. We loved it as a great place to relax, and also used it as a springboard for day trips to the numerous lakes and surrounding areas like Sedona. Highly recommend!!

Amazing Cabin
We had such an amazing time at this cabin. The floor to ceiling windows by the kitchen table is where we loved to be. The views were amazing. We saw many deer each day. We ended up extending our trip by 2 days because we just didn’t want to leave. I highly recommend this cabin. The owners were terrific too, very responsive.

Tons of room, beautiful location, well priced
Stayed here with some of my friends for a long weekend and couldn’t have had a better experience! The house is immaculate and has more space than any place I’ve stayed at for the same price. We saw deer, javelina and turkey all from the windows on the first floor! The foosball table and Xbox are a great touch. The area is beautiful and has tons of things to do nearby. For the price we paid, this property is unbeatable. I will most definitely be staying here again!
