Cozy room
This hotel was so cute and comfortable. Our room was not big, but it was cozy. There is a gas fireplace that warms the room. The hotel is at the end of Whiskey Row and a nice half mile walk to the St. Michael's restaurant. The only negative was the small shower.

Kitschy local hotel
The Motor Lodge is a nice change from the generic chain hotels. It is minutes from downtown Prescott where there are lots of restaurants, shops and nightlife. Fun kitschy local business.

The Motor Lodge is a great nostalgia motel that makes you feel like you're traveling back in time. It's well appointed and the beds are comfortable. A great place to stay while in Prescott.

The place offered a unique experience, almost like being transported into the past. The quaintly decorated spaces were picture-worthy and definitely arouses curiosity and provides for a memorable experience. Truly worth it experience. If you're going to a unique place such as Prescott with its quaint small town appeal, a regular hotel chain experience won't do. You simply must stay at The Motor Lodge.

This is not your typical motor lodge. Kitchy, comfortable and fun! We love the vibrant colors, gathering at the fire pit and great location, walkable to Whiskey Row.

This is our 2nd visit to the Motor Lodge. I won't stay anywhere else in Prescott. Walking distance to downtown. Firepit at night. Rooms are fun and spotless. Staff goes above and beyond.

Terrific and Helpful Staff
I had to cancel my visit at the last minute, and the hotel staff was AMAZING about helping me navigate the issues. so I haven't stayed here yet, but will do so when I rebook the trip. If the office staff is this dedicated and helpful, the Motor Lodge is certain to be terrific as well.

Wonderful place to stay with wonderful hospitality. Everything from check in to check out was great, we were offered drinks at check in and cookies at check out. The room was comfortable and quiet. If im ever in Prescott again this is where i will stay :)

My favorite accommodations in Prescott
I have been visiting Prescott for 30+ years to visit family. The Motor Lodge is my favorite place to stay. This place is great. Each unit is unique, with plenty of modern conveniences to balance with the cool mid-century motif. Staff are all friendly, courteous, friendly, and helpful.

This is such a cool place to stay. Check in was easy and we were taken to our room and showed around. That’s a nice inviting feeling. The room was beautiful and the decor was “fun”. Walking distance to all the good restaurants and shopping. This is so much nicer that a typical hotel. I booked this because of the reviews I read and now I highly recommend my self. Would give 10 stars if I could. Definitely a do over in my book. Thanks so much for your hospitality!

I loved staying here - a retro motor lodge that was furnished with personality and verve. Private patio with a view of other rooms. Rooms set back from a fairly busy road - so quiet. All amenities updated. Love it. Hope to return

Great Retro Motor Court
Love this place! Great retro motor court brings back fond memories of yore with an up to date groovy vibe. Think about the grand folks (great grand folks?) with their AMC Ambassador (complete with a compass on the mirror) as you wheel into your parking slot adjacent to your unit. Take time to sit out front of your room evening and morning as you take in all that is the motor court experience of a bygone era. This place is clean as a whistle and blends history with a funky and updated decor.

This lodge is cute and the person who checked me in was very nice. The issue however is the shower, it was incredibly uncomfortable with the water coming in sharp steams from an odd angle. It that was different this room would have been perfect.

We're glad that overall you enjoyed your stay with us at The Motor Lodge. Yes, given the 1937 vintage of the motel most of the bathrooms are on the small side. We do have a few rooms with larger bathrooms that you can request. Regarding the "sharp streams" of water from the showerhead, this is the first time we have heard this feedback. We will look into it and do our best to address this issue.

This was an eclectic, theme-based stay! The decour was from the 50’s by design, and the little touches from full-sized coffee mugs to lots of pillows on each bed made me feel like I was staying at my parent’s home and not a lodge. Very grateful for the attention to detail, and the homemade cookies on departure were a nice touch! Bringing the entire family back soon!

Retro fun
Comfy bed, quiet and clean. Would have liked microwave in room yo complete the kitchenette, as well as dishes/silverware/pans. Hard to use a totally empty kitchenette. Defeats purpose of having one.

We're glad you enjoyed your stay at The Motor Lodge. Our larger rooms (Suites & Apartment) come with microwave and dishes in their kitchenettes. In any rooms that have the old stoves--the stoves are not operational (they just make the kitchen look great), so pots/pans are not provided. If you are in our Classic room we can provide a microwave free of charge (just ask!). We also provide dishes and utensils on request for the Classic rooms as well. We are more than happy to accommodate most requests to make your stay comfortable. The next time you stay with us, be sure to request a microwave and dishes.
