Perfect long weekend

House and property were perfect for a long weekend with friends. All the little touches from extra towels to kayaks were so nice. It really made the stay so enjoyable.

Grand Lake Retreat was a treat

Property managers were outstanding. Communication was flawless. The home had spectacular views and was very well appointed for longer stays. Outdoor areas were beautiful. All in all a top notch northern Michigan vacation home. We would stay here again if visiting the area in the future.

Grand Lake lake home

This property was wonderful and accommodated our group of 7 well (three couples, one single). We thoroughly enjoyed the view, which was spectacular from the main floor and upstairs master as well as the lower level. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen well-equipped and designed, and the bathrooms were well beyond our expectations. The exterior had several areas for seating and enjoying the night sky. I would highly recommend this property. The property management was quick to respond to our inquiries/requests and even dropped off a drip coffee pot for us because we don't appreciate a keurig (too much waste)

Family 4th trip

Great space for a group. We had 6 adults, a one year old and a dog for a week of family vacation. We loved the deck, had a great view and enjoyed the open spaces. We had a quick response when we reported lots of ants after a heavy rain. House had plenty of utensils, appliances and dishes and was very well maintained. We had a great family vacation!

I Really Can't Say Enough Good Things About Rapid Retreat!

We have stayed at ** many** VRBO rentals over the years and the Rapid Retreat definitely goes in our FAVORITES bucket! The cottage is very beautiful, updated, and is filled with everything you will need to make your stay comfortable. Everything is clean and tidy. The large deck provides a great place for morning coffee with a beautiful view of the lake. We enjoyed using the new kayaks to explore the lakeshore, and sitting by the campfire almost every night. Plenty of room for our family. Loved it!

Michigan Getaway

We very much enjoyed our stay with a beautiful view of the lake, and comfortable accommodations at this property. There was plenty of room for our family if 8, including three children 6 and under.
