The facility was clean. The breakfast was good. Tried to check in around d 11:00 am because we were in the area and was told there would be a $30.00 up charge so we decided to wait. I under stand but it really did not look that busy and we were just going to get checked In Before we went out for the day. Not a bad place to stay over all.

I stayed at the SureStay by Best Western in Presque Isle, ME for 3 nights in mid-October. There was good parking (including 1 spot with a charging station for an electric car), the check-in was very quick and easy, and everything was clean. The breakfast buffet was very good, and various types of coffee as well as hot and cold water were available 24/7 in the lobby. The room with 1 queen bed (which was very comfortable) was fine for 1 person, but would have been rather small for 2. The decor was appealing with one wall painted in dark blue with a black headboard in front of it and a photograph with a lighthouse and bright orange/purple sunset above the bed – quite unusual but very pretty. This hotel is a very good option for someone on a budget.

The manager was a great person, very helpful and kind. The building is a bit shabby, and the bathrooms are tiny and, while clean, still appear dirty.

The hotel is a bargain for the super low price. Room was clean. Breakfast was decent. The morning guy at the desk was really nice. It's a deal. Just make sure that you have transportation. This is crucial at this time of night. This hotel offers a shuttle but it took a little coaxing for them to come get us, as our flight didn't land until after 11pm. They did end up picking us up after some discussion.

Staff and breakfast were great. But there was food in our refrigerator that was left from previous guests, our bathroom floor was wet, there was dirt on top of the fridge and stains on the carpet and pillows.

This hotel was fine for our stay. It is an older building that has been updated to adequate standards. As a "Best Western" affiliate a visitor may be expecting a higher standard of hotel. This not a regular Best Western. Room is smaller. Bathroom quite small and aged somewhat. However as bang for your buck it is an excellent value. Compared to some other "fancier" hotels in the immediate area it was 1/2 to 1/3 the price. A guest will be fine if their expectations are not too high. Great value for what you get.

This place is OK—bed and pillows are comfortable, water pressure good. Lighting not great. Breakfast was OK. I would not recommend for more than a night or two, but if you’re on a road trip and just need shower & sleep before you hit the road again it’s fine.
