Pure feelgood at an amazing place

Especially the way the owners made our stay a real feelgood experience was exceptionally, including filled fridge at arrival and shuttle to the train station. It is a real recommendation to stay here and enjoy the wonderful calm place and the beautiful surrounding.

Einfach die Ruhe geniessen

Wir genossen die Ruhe, das schöne Anwesen mit dem alten Baumbestand, den kühlen Pool und das geschmackvoll eingerichtete Häuschen. Bettina und Christoph sind äusserst herzliche und zuvorkommende Gastgeber. Gerne kommen wir wieder!

Un lieu dépaysant...vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés Le gîte est décoré avec goût et très bien équipés avec une véranda top 👍 on a vu des magnifiques coucher de soleil ☀️. Nos filles se sont amusées entre la piscine, pétanque,ping-pong,salle de jeux, babyfoot... Bettina et Christophe sont des hôtes très accueillant, à l'écoute et disponible. Schöne Fewo in traumhafter, ruhigr Lage

In dieser Fewo haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Jahreszeit und die Dauer unseres Aufenthaltes haben es leider nicht möglich gemacht alles zu nutzen, was es hier an Möglichkeiten gibt. Sollte es sich ergeben, dass wir noch das ein oder andere Mal hier in diese Gegend kommen, würden wir uns freuen, wieder bei unseren lieben Gastgeber zu verweilen! Ein sehr schöner Ort zum entspannen.

Es war ein sehr schöner Ort zum entspannen. Schöner Pool an dem man sich es gut gehen lassen kann. Für Kinder gibt es viele Spiele. Natürlich auch für die Familie. Die Vermieter versorgen einem mit allen aktuellen Informationen die benötigt werden. Fragen werden immer schnell beantwortet. Die Aussicht aus dem Wintergarten war wunderschön. Eigentlich war es fast wie in einem Hotel, nur das Essen musste man selber zubereiten. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit.

Wer im Urlaub Ruhe, Geschichte und tolle Landschaften erleben möchte, ist hier genau richtig. Das alte Anwesen ist sehr weitläufig, unser Ferienhaus ist viel Geschmack aus einer Scheune entstanden. Chris ist eine sehr herzliche Gastgeberin.

Un domaine exceptionnel !

Nous avons passé un superbe séjour dans ce domaine magnifique, tenu par des propriétaires accueillants, très gentils, disponibles, soucieux du moindre détail. Notre location, le gîte Marqueyssac, était parfait, d'une propreté absolument impeccable. La décoration soignée, la vue exceptionnelle sur le jardin et la campagne alentour ont contribué à notre agrément. Le domaine est vaste, très bien entretenu et a beaucoup de charme. Tout est fait pour le bonheur des enfants de tous âges (jeux à disposition, table de ping-pong, grenouilles et tétards !). Nous sommes ravis de notre séjour et remercions à nouveau Chris et Patrick pour leur accueil et leur gentillesse, ainsi que pour les conseils touristiques avisés !

Lovely stay in a gorgeous location

We had a great stay at Perrot. What a beautiful house and surroundings! The house was well equipped and clean and Chris and Patrick were very accommodating. Only issue we had was online it said there was air conditioning but there in fact is not. It was ok as we had a fan but maybe it needs to be taken off the advert! Overall good accommodation and we had a lovely holiday

Beautiful, peaceful escape

We were attending a wedding nearby so we decided to have a week’s holiday beforehand and luckily chose Chris’s house. The gite was spotlessly clean and fresh and cool, despite the heatwave! Our baby loved splashing about in the gorgeous, well maintained pool as well as playing in the play barn every morning at 7am. Chris and Patrice held a little drinks party in the main garden so we could meet the other guests which was lovely, but we also had lots of privacy in our private garden. I loved how blissfully quiet the area was - no cars, no noise of any kind but we also liked that there were lots of places of interest nearby. Every evening when the baby was asleep we lay on our sun loungers watching the sun set over the cornfields. Our hosts were just delightful and we will miss them! We would definitely return :)

Nous avons passé une semaine parfaite en famille dans ce petit coin de paradis naturel et plein de caractère. Gut, dass man immer wieder kommen kann!!!

Wir haben ein liebevoll renoviertes Feriendomizil angetroffen, sodass die äußeren Umstände perfekt waren, um das Perigord kennen zu lernen. Und .....was soll ich sagen? Ich befürchte, wir sind vom Perigord-Virus befallen ;). Chris und Patrick sind immer zur Stelle, wenn Fragen oder Anliegen auftauchen, sind aber ansonsten angenehm zurückhaltend. Auch Dank des eigenen Gartenteiles konnten wir auch ruhen und entspannen. Wir danken Patrick für seine freundliche Art, und Chris für ihr Lachen, das immer mal wieder aus irgend einer Ecke zu hören war. Zum Schluss ein Zitat von Chris, das noch immer nachklingt "It`s a better life"

Un havre de paix au milieu de la nature

Nous étions logé dans la partie Marqueyssac. Totalement indépendants avec notre petite partie du grand jardin, nous avons profité pleinement des lieux avec les enfants (piscine, ping-pong, badminton) et de la nature à l'état pur. Coucher de soleil splendide et champs à perte de vue pour seul vis-à-vis. Nous avons très bien été accueillis par Chris et Patrick, qui ont été d'une grande disponibilité, toujours d'excellents conseils de ballades et de visites. Merci Chris de nous avoir orienter vers Collonges la Rouge sur le chemin du retour. C'était splendide!

Alle wensen vervuld

We vonden wat we zochten: een rustige plek midden in de natuur van Dordogne, aan het einde van een lange zandweg. De (kleine) gîte ziet uit op een eindeloos grasveld, en hoewel er nog 2 gites en chambres d'hôtes op het complex van deze gerenoveerde oude boerderij staan, kun je geloven dat je er alleen woont. Warme ontvangst door Chris en haar partner Patrick, die graag uitleg geeft over de historie van de plek en de smaakvolle manier waarop ze die verbouwd hebben. We hebben vele uren doorgebracht in de ligstoelen onder de grote eik naast de gîte, genietend van het gekwaak van de kikkers in de vijvers, van de roep van de wielewaal en de hop, en van de vele vogels waaronder de Orpheusspotvogel, die broedt aan de rand van het terrein. Van hieruit zijn vele wandelingen te maken door het heuvelachtige en boomrijke gebied. Voor de rust- en natuurzoeker een paradijs.

Traumhaftes Feriendomizil

In ein über 200 Jahre altes Bauernhaus, welches einsam innerhalb von Wiesen und Brüchen liegt, sind 3 Ferinenwohnungen gebaut, welche alle einen separaten Zugang und eigenen Außenbereich haben. Sehr schönes Ambiente, alles sauber und trocken, sehr freundliche Wirte.
