「Very nice spot, one of the better supplied kicthens I have seen in a short-term rental with decent appliances. And yes the counters are all bar-height, but it wasn't an issue for us. One thing that I didn't realize was that the wood-stove is only decorative, so if you want a fire, it is outside.」

「We were very satisfied with our trip. We came to stay for sledding at Blackwater Falls State Park, only about 30 minutes away. The house is lovely and felt like home.」

「I really enjoy the low light pollution in the area which allows you to see the stars clearly at night. We came in January when it was freezing cold and snowing but it made the experience better The house was spacious with a nice living room, two nice bathrooms, a washing machine.There was a fire pit outside and a a hot tub which we did not use because of the weather. However I would love to come back and try it out one day again. 」

「Really nice place on the lake. The place is small but uses space well. It had a modern update and was well stocked. Host was nice and responsive. Beds and bedding was soft and comfortable. We came up for skiing for NYE but will be will be back in the summer. 」
