「In general very good. The double bed was made of two single mattresses which was not comfortable. The shower had attachments missing but worked ok. Staff were friendly and attentive.」

Eggs cooked to order were perfect though. The food at dinner was pretty good and well cooked but the menu was quite limited. The menu size matched the hotel size really and overall we had no complaints. Would definitely stay there again.」

「A clean, well-run place. I booked at the last minute, so the email with information on accessing the place was sent by email while I was on the train. Wifi on the train was non-existent, so I had difficulty downloading the information, so I rang the landlord, who was extremely helpful. 」

「I love these type of B&B’s. This B&B is steeped in history built in the 18th century, On the land owned by the Spencer family, Vincent Van Gogh also lived on the square, so this is not a modern hotel if that’s what you’re looking for, it has steep stairs and smallish rooms, but is full of character, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the hospitality was fantastic and the breakfast was delicious, the pub on the corner is very friendly and only a short walk to the beach.」
