Great stay

It was our fourth time here. We really love this place, secluded, surrounded by the nature, you can really relax there. We highly recommend it.

50s House

This house is very charming and clean. Anita is a great host and I will plan to stay there again. It is a perfect halfway point when we go to the beach and much easier with our dog than a hotel. I absolutely recommend it.

Clean house with lots of space

For the price this was a great deal. Lots of room and a beautiful view out the back of the home. This was a stop on our trip farther south. Very clean home.

From far away…

We were in town for a funeral all the way from Colorado. The house is in a nice quiet neighborhood and close to businesses you may need during your stay or remote enough to enjoy a peaceful getaway. House was very comfortable and had everything you needed. Host was responsive & accommodating.

Another Hidden Gem

This was my second time visiting my son at Concord University and staying at a place Anita owns. The location to the school couldn’t be better. This home was exactly as described in the VRBO description. Athens is a small quiet town with not much to do however Princeton is a short 20 minute drive. You will find a Dollar General and CVS conveniently located from this home. Directions for arrival were clear and arrived in a timely manner. Thank you for your hospitality.

My wife, son and I recently stayed at the house for one night while traveling to OH. The house was charming, very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed relaxing on the back deck and would love to stay there again.

Take Me Back to the 50’s!!

This house is wonderful! So well taken care with timeliness beauty and charm! Anita has tidbits of history throughout the house! The location is nestled in with the locals in a private setting and just close enough to amenities.

1951 High School Reunion

Attended the Northfork class of 51 reunion @ Pipestem so the cottage was perfect for the occasion! Beautifully decorated quaint, quiet home with a lovely host just a phone call away. The outdoor kitties were a plus! We highly recommend this property!

Nice, clean country cottage

Anita was very helpful and answered all questions immediately. House is in a nice country setting and has some nice amenities (fire pit, BBQ, cool lower deck overlooking woods, and more). Our 10 year old loved the complementary brownies and soda! Clean and comfortable place.

Wonderful stay at a beautiful property

The check in process was very easy, the house was clean. The host replied to our messages promptly. There were two cute cats on the back porch when we woke up, which was a nice surprise. I would certainly recommend this house.

The 50s House— Charming!

Great house

This was a very clean, great little house, in a super quiet neighborhood. Complete with cozy cats and adorable wildlife. The host was friendly and had some great recommendations. Me and my girls enjoyed out trip.

Weekend trip

It was a clean house on a quiet street close to Concord University. Peaceful setting. Short drive to Princeton when we wanted to eat out or shop. We had activities at the university so it was nice and close. House is as listed, older but very nice and a great place to relax and get away. Beautiful area.

Back To The 50s Guest House

Reminded so much of my grandparents' and my home growing up! Loved the squeek in the flooring, too. Thank you for the brownies and soft drinks. Water was hot and plentiful. Beds were comfortable. Will try to stay again during our travels North.

We loved Back to the 50s!

Everything about this guest house was wonderful. It was clean as a pin and equipped with everything we needed. Plenty of towels, soaps, etc, and all the appliances were in perfect working order. The yard was lovely and a great place to walk. The backporch was our favorite and we're still talking about sitting back there enjoying the landscape. Our host was available, but we didn't need to call on her as everything was so well put together. We will go back.
