「The Bear Den was the perfect accommodation for us. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, pots/pans and appliances. It felt like a second home! Location was a short drive from Nelson but we appreciated the quietness and rural vibe. There was plenty of parking for our two vehicles. We would love to stay here again!」

「Clean suite and great access to all locations in and around Nelson. The host was quick to respond to inquiries and share a tool to adjust my husband’s bike! The storage shed was perfect to keep our two bikes dry and safe when we weren’t using them. We recommend this suite for two adults. 」

「Lovely property with a fabulous view! Plenty of space and rooms were well separated allowing for privacy. Found everything that we needed for a one week stay. I was worried that because it was not air conditioned we would be too hot as they were calling for temperatures in the mid 30’s. In fact it was not an issue. Lots of fans in the house and by opening up the windows each night (the windows are all screened), and then closing them during the day we were very comfortable. The owners...

「Great property. Clean and spacious. Lots of things for the kids to do. The zipline was a huge hit. Hot tub was amazing and very clean. Was right beside some incredible mountain biking. There was also a fantastic running path right down the road that dogs can run off leash. The house itself was perfect. Lots of room for the kids to play and sleep comfortably. The ping pong table was also a nice touch. Would definitely stay here again. Probably one of the best houses we have ever rented on VRBO.」

「Plenty of room. Great views. Fabulous private beach. Water warm enough in August for swimming.Craig gave us a recommendation for renting a boat from Jones Brothers rentals. We had a great time in a pontoon boat. They came over to Riondel marina to pick up our captain.Over the years, we have rented a out a dozen places for or gatherings. 「This was an excellent base to see both Nelson and access Kootenay Lake,This was a full Home and very well equipped.Response from the Host was very quick whenever contacted Downtown Nelson location very close to everything.We enjoyed walking to nearby restaurants and walking to see many of the numerous murals Nelson is known for.Slept very well, was not bothered by any noise which is important to me.」
