Relax in the heart of Washington wine country

If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway for the whole family or your favorite group of people, this beautiful home situated within walking distance of downtown Prosser is worth your time.

Prosser is the birth place of the Washington wine scene and wineries abound within a short distance in addition to many good eateries, a perfect place for foodies! Prosser is situated within the Yakima Valley which provides many adventure opportunities and events throughout the year along with 300+ days of sun.

You will find the house well equipped to accommodate your crew, but let’s start with the all important sleeping arrangements. There is 1 king in a first floor master suite, 1 queen in a 2nd first floor bedroom, 1 queen in a 3rd first floor bedroom and 1 queen in a 2nd story loft area which is a larger room. There are a total of 4 bedrooms. There are also 2 full bathrooms. Sleeps up to 8 comfortably.

The great room concept on the first floor will accommodate your group wanting to spread out and relax, along with a table large enough to accommodate everyone (up to 8) sharing a great meal together.

The kitchen is stocked with many helpful items to make cooking your favorite meals easier, such as pots, pans, table settings, common spices, wine glasses, and much more (ask for full list). Also, a Keurig for that morning (or whenever!) perfect cup of coffee.

Outside, you will enjoy the wraparound covered porch, along with patio furniture to enjoy the wonderful shade and ambiance of Prosser’s oldest Hickory tree. Truly a majestic tree!

Our three adult children and three grandchildren stayed with us. Although we weren't at the house very much (we were attending a family function in Sunnyside) we appreciated the cleanliness and the spaciousness of the home. It was a very hot weekend and the AC worked well. The upstairs got a little warm but the ceiling fan helped. The kitchen was very well equipped and modern. The neighborhood was quiet and we enjoyed the Saturday Market which was not a far walk. The bed in the Master was comfortable but a bit creaky and noisy. And be aware, the sprinklers come on in the morning so you can't enjoy a cup of coffee on the deck/patio. We would stay here again.

We loved staying at this charming older home! It is completely renovated and clean on the inside, and all 8 of us fit comfortably. There are 23 bedrooms downstairs, one is an on-suite. The space upstairs is a secluded loft , - I call it a loft only because there is a curtain instead of a door - perfect for the kids to have their own sleeping space and watch tv. The kitchen is well stocked. The patio furniture was comfortable, squirrels entertained us with their acrobatics in the branches of the large tree in the back yard. A walk through the neighborhood made me grateful for this location: Peaceful, older homes with large trees, and proximity to a quaint downtown made this a great place to stay. Everyone in our group loved the space. Thank you to the gracious hosts for a worry-free stay!

PERFECT!

This property was perfect for our stay! The home is clean and comfortable. The area is very quiet and we felt safe. Our teen girls felt safe walking around town and down to the river (about a mile away). The kitchen is very well stocked with the most common equipment and tools you might need, (One of the best stocked vacation home kitchen I've used.) and the dishes are of high quality. We did have an issue with the wi-fi, which apparently is not typical. The host was responsive when we messaged him.

Girls BookClub trip

Great stay, got to several wineries and saw Red Mountain area which was the book series we all read. Boo Walker is the author of 3 Red Mountain book series. He lived in Red Mountain area for a number of years, so we cked out the winery he worked at. The house location was perfect for grocery shopping as well as restaurant's all within walking distance. Would highly recommended!

I was in Prosser for a family reunion and the location was perfect. There is a park a few blocks away. If you like wine, there are a number of very good wineries in close proximity.

Wine Tasting Shenanigans with Friends

The house is quaint and lovely. Very comfortable for my 3 best friends and me. So incredibly clean!! While there isn’t much in terms of food options in downtown Prosser the recommended Mexican restaurant was very good. So much so that we did it twice. There are some good wineries nearby but I will always recommend Red Mountain AVA. The home owners were very communicative and I appreciated their desire to help when I stupidly left my watch as we departed. Just wish it had been less smoky and less hit because I know we would have loved sitting under the beautiful tree in the backyard.

Graduation celebration

At the last minute the original house we had booked got canceled. I was able to book this house with little advance notice. Kyle (owner) was very accommodating for our family group. The house is in a beautiful neighborhood and within walking distance to Prosser’s quaint downtown. The house has comfortable beds, and a nice living room area to visit in. We also enjoyed having our morning coffee on the comfortable outdoor furniture in the backyard. There is a huge shade tree in the back yard with squirrels that provided us with entertainment. Our daughter and son-in-law are moving to Prosser and we will defiantly rent this house again!

Mom and son trip!

We had a wonderful time! House very comfortable! Grass should have been mowed, and we had to search around to turn off sprinklers, even though I sent messages about it. Really was a minor issue, as overall the place was perfect for us!
