"Nous ne sommes restés qu'une nuit, courant mars. Le gîte est fonctionnel et, une fois le chauffage mis, agréable. Il est très bien situé, à la fois sur la route vers Vezelay et pourtant au calme. Il est clair qu'il y a beaucoup de choses que nous aurions pu faire si nous n'avions pas été sur une simple étape. Nos hôtes étaient très accueillants. Comme certains l'ont dit, gîte rustique. "This apartment exceeded my expectations. We found fresh pasteries, plenty of coffee pods, and a gourmet tea box when we arrived. The cottage was well decorated and comfortable. We walked from the train station. We rented bikes in town and rode the canal de Bourgogne bike trail and hiked to the abbey de Fontenay. Angelique allowed us to check in early and checkout later. Communication was excellent. Located on a quiet street with easy walking access to town and the bike path. Highly recommend!"

"The hotel was located right in the beautiful town of Avallon, walking to everything. The staff was very kind and accommodating. The room and hotel was beautiful and comfortable. we were in France for three weeks and this was one of our favorite towns and hotels, and the restaurant was the best meal we had during our entire trip! Jola, at the front desk, was especially sweet and helpful, and made our stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend staying here,"
