First impression of the property was that it was clean, well kept, and had all the little things I needed for an enjoyable stay. From kitchen/cooking(and eating) items, shower gel in the bathroom, beach towels by the pool, cushions on the outdoor chairs, amount of outdoor seating, floating devices, cooler, life vests, and cleaning supplies.
We checked out several of the beaches on the island and I truly found the view from Breezy Palms to be one of the best.
Appliances, shower heads, water pressure, sinks, indoor/outdoor lights, A/C, remotes, door/window locks, toilets, lock box/safe, and ceiling fans were all in perfect working order.
There are 2 negatives I wish to mention however one is out of the owners control. It is the noise from the construction on the house next door. It got a bit taxing by day 3. I do think once it is built it will slightly impact the privacy that Breezy Palms currently offers but I would still go back in a heart beat.
The second negative is the alarm system on the house. Our welcoming guide who was extremely helpful spent a great deal of time going over said alarm system and how to use it correctly. However, as it turned out, it wasn't even functioning. Since the door and window locks all worked I really wasn't worried too much about security. I was more worried about being responsible for someone else's home and not being able to secure it to its full potential. And it seemed as though the pool guys had keys to the lower pool house. Which led me to wonder just how many islanders did have access to the house? Since there was a house keeper/maid, maintenance guy, and at least 2 property managers.
Again, it is nothing that would prevent me from going back and I am hoping to be adopted into the owner's family so I can come more often.
