“Very nice hotel though a bit out of town with not so much to do nearby. Staff very helpful and friendly. Our room in the suites building was in poor state of cleanliness with stained shower, blocked sink, peeling paint. We asked to change rooms and were immediately upgraded to a very nice suite in the main hotel. Nice bar/restaurant area with good menu and large portions. Breakfast very good too.”

“The huts and gardens were fantastic. The huts had everything you needed and were clean and tidy. Loved sitting in the hot tub at night watching the bats! ”

“We booked an appartment with 2 bedrooms. Lots of space. Campus is beautiful. Rooms a little 'old' but well equipped (freezer, washing machine)...Missing some kitchen tools, teapot, hair dryer etc. ”

“Where do I even begin? From the moment I got there; I was treated like royalty. Staff was top notch. Pods are the coolest thing and such a wonderful experience. The Hottub and dry sauna are pristine. The pods are so nicely designed and super clean. Waking up to the country side was one of the most spectacular views ever. I should’ve stayed my entire week there and never left. I was so content and relaxed! I will definitely be back soon!!! I can’t say enough about how wonderful this place is!!! ”

“We had a very nice apt on the 3rd floor with a view of the mountains. Very little furniture, but had everything we needed. The Apt was centrally located making it easy to get everywhere we wanted to go.”

“There is nothing I can say good about this place. There was dirty hand prints on the walls in our apartment area. The mattresses had urine stains all over them and also something we couldn’t tell if it was blood, mold or what it was. I would not recommend staying here”

“The host was unfriendly and hadn't turned heat on so was very cold. Kitchen and bathroom had no heat. Terrible shower and refrigerator was worthless owner told us a stick in the freezer. Even her son said this was a nuisance. I would stay at West Cork Hotel in Skiberean again never again at Rineen.”

“The only thing I did not like about this summer student residence compared to others associated with UCC (e.g. Broga house) is the greater distance to the centre of Cork. But, that said, there is a city bus stop at the doorstep and the service is frequent and reliable.”

“Nice house, little bare bones but did the job and took care of our family. The rooms are as pictured and the beds were comfortable. The layout is nice and simple with a good open kitchen / living room with a nice TV to watch shows or play board games in. The owners were understanding and communicated through the app within hours, we never saw them personally but the key was right where they said and easy to get to and use. Good people. The house delivers what it promises, and is a good deal……
