The Space:

Casa Aviari is unlike a traditional vacation home. Inspired by the idea of a cage for humans, its distinctive design invites you to see the relationship between people and wildlife from a completely different perspective. Here, humans occupy the enclosure while monkeys, birds, and other rainforest creatures move freely through their natural surroundings.



At the heart of the house, a tree grows through the structure, accompanied by a waterfall that brings the sights and sounds of the rainforest into the living space. Natural materials, open-air architecture, and surrounding greenery make the boundary between indoors and outdoors feel almost nonexistent.



The house accommodates up to six guests and features two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and inviting spaces to gather and relax. Enjoy meals together, unwind in a hammock, or take in the jungle views from the private balcony.

Getting Around:

Casa Aviari can be reached by car via Puerto Jiménez, followed by approximately forty minutes on an unpaved gravel road. A four-wheel-drive vehicle is strongly recommended, especially during the rainy season.

Alternatively, you can fly into Puerto Jiménez, and we can help arrange transportation to the property. We recommend arriving during daylight hours and purchasing groceries and essentials before heading to Cabo Matapalo. Having your own vehicle is the most convenient way to explore nearby beaches and attractions.
