The hotel is small but looks cozy; perfect for a family with kids as it’s a lot of entertainments and fun stuff to do. For adults only it’s a little boring as no night club or disco and show program ends at 9pm. Overall, clean, food is tasty but not a huge choice in the buffet. All restaurants cook delicious food.

Stunning views and great for kids, though food variety could improve We recently stayed at this resort with our 4-year-old, and she had the absolute best time. The property is exceptionally clean, and the rooms are amazing. A huge plus is that all rooms are sea-facing, so you can’t go wrong with the view! There is plenty to do for kids, which kept her busy and happy throughout the trip. A few things to note: as vegetarians, we found the food options a bit limited. While the quality was good, the variety/spread wasn't very large. Also, a small tip for the resort: more popcorn for the kids' movie nights would be great! Tips for future travelers: Dining: Book your steakhouse reservations early; it’s not a walk-in spot. Spa: The spa isn't inclusive, so make sure to schedule your own appointments. Packing: The Sensira shop is quite expensive. I’d recommend bringing your own beach toys and essentials from home.

The pictures online are extremely deceiving. There is very little to do at the resort, and the kids’ activities were almost nonexistent, which was very disappointing for a family trip. The biggest issue was the food. At a resort, food should be a top priority, and this was by far some of the worst food we’ve experienced. Most of it had no flavor, was barely edible, or was cold because it had clearly been sitting out for a long time (especially at the café). Nothing tasted fresh. We tried multiple restaurants hoping for a better experience, but unfortunately the food was consistently disappointing across the entire resort. Our room itself was okay, but the sliding door did not close properly and had an opening of nearly a foot. We reported it right away, yet it still took two days for anyone to fix it, which is unacceptable for a basic maintenance issue. The only positive part of our stay was the staff, who were very friendly and kind. Unfortunately, good service alone cannot make up for the lack of activities, poor food quality, and maintenance issues. Overall, this resort did not live up to expectations at all, and we will definitely not be staying here again.

La vista era impresionante hermosa, desde la cama se veía el mar, por las noche disfrutamos mucho del sonido de las olas y la brisa marina. El personal fue sumamente amable y atento. Recordamos sobre todo a Sandy, Lupita, Diego y Hever. Estuvimos alojados en una zona del hotel sólo para adultos y eso fue clave para tener una estancia realmente tranquila y relajante.

Seaweed built an impressive wall on the unusable beach. Pools were good, food was cold and reused in the buffet, restaurants were ok, after dinner time the resort basically goes to bed. Ok experience for young kids but even they got bored after day 3. The biggest frustration was check in, a large group arrived just ahead of us, and the staff refused to let us jump the que to help our exhausted sick kid get into ac sooner than later. Some rules are worth bending.

If you are traveling with children, just ignore the bad reviews from people with high expectations. We traveled to Sensira in February 2026 with 2 children. This resort is amazing for families, with many ammenities for children. They absolutely loved Amy, Josephine & Daniela at the kids club. The kids club had lots of fun activities for them, and the indoor playground part was a big hit. It was well air conditioned, so perfect for peak heat. The trampoline park was a big hit too, they even had 2 hours in the morning reserved for little kids. We stayed in the Agatha 2 Queen room and had a view of the beach and lower pool. The room was lovely. QR code to see the schedule for weekly activities and restaurant menus. The TV had the ability to connect to your own streaming services, which was nice the few times we used it. The rain shower was nice and bottled water was provided daily for brushing teeth and drinking. The restaurants were nice, but there is a system. Make your reservations the morning before at concierge, or line up around 5:20pm for the Italian/ Mexican. The adults only paris-themed restaurant had our favorite meals. It is only open on Saturdays so be sure to line up to make a reservation at concierge on Friday morning around 8am. Don't skip the buffet for breakfast and lunch, and order your seaside lunch from a pool lounger instead of lining up. Yes, there will be lines, but you're on vacation - what's your rush? Order all the drinks you can carry at once.

Great hotel! The staff is extremely attentive and nice. But it does need some mini upgrade in the baby playroom.

If you’re looking for a Murphy’s Law vacation experience, this is the place for you. Sensira oversold the dates that we were there and had no operational strategy in place. 3,000+ guests and not nearly the staff to accommodate. I booked a room with two beds; we were given a room with one bed and told there was nothing they could do. There were three of us. 2 hour waits for lunch, only one bar open during the day leading to 30+ minute wait for anything other than water, pool towel restrictions (a family of 3 but you couldn’t get more than 2 pool towels), incredibly slow dinner service (2+ hours for basic meals), none of the hospitality services advertised (no butler, concierge, generally anyone to handle questions), room service orders denied due to “too many requests”. This happened every night. Dirty rooms, dirty bathrooms, generally dirty facilities, dirty restaurants; we saw a cockroach at breakfast and reported to a busboy who grabbed another busboy so that they could laugh together at the cockroach, then walked away. No one ever removed it from the restaurant. All three of us have Celiac disease; there were no accommodations. Prior reviews highlight gluten free options at the buffet; there were none. I informed the concierge of our allergies ahead of arrival; no one ever responded. When I asked about gluten free options on our first day I was laughed at. The overall sentiment of the staff, when you could find someone, was “not my problem” Go literally anywhere else.
