Horrible experience. We were not advised in advance about the restaurant closure due to a large group booking. As a result, we were limited to only one restaurant with very few menu options for the entire stay, which was extremely inconvenient. We also requested housekeeping and extra towels due to a leak in the bathroom. Unfortunately, we had to call and follow up multiple times before anything was done, which was very disappointing. Most concerning of all, because of the bathroom leak, I slipped and fell. This is a serious safety issue and should never happen to guests. Overall, the customer service was awful and the situation reflects poor management. I would not recommend this hotel.

Just finished a stay at Sensira Resort (Jan 14–23, 2026) and it was a huge disappointment. We came as a family of eight to celebrate my sister’s 70th birthday — planned six months ahead — and the resort completely failed us. Starting Jan 22, they suddenly closed the buffet, snack bar, tea house, steak house, Mexican restaurant, AND the French restaurant was already closed since we arrived. Only one restaurant left for everyone. Then on Jan 23, one of the pools was closed too. No warning. No communication. Not five‑star service by any stretch. Our celebration was ruined, and we’ve requested a refund because we won’t be returning but have yet to hear from them.

It's a good resort overall, mainly for families. Advantages: the staff is the best, good and spacious rooms, good recreation and entertainment (though there isn't a show every night). Great pools. Buffet restaurant serving all three meals, good food selection. Three restaurants open in the evenings, although not every evening. Disadvantages: the beach isn't great, it's small and has little sand. The access road to the hotel is narrow. Rating: The main reason for the 3-star rating is the lack of services on the last day of our stay. It wasn't clear why, as the reception told us the buffet restaurant was under maintenance, while other service points told us the entire hotel had been booked by a Jewish community. The truth is that all the restaurants and snack services were out of service, and a very large group of Jewish people did arrive. The only food available during the last day of our stay (January 22, 2026) was a very poor and limited buffet, improvised in what had been the Italian restaurant. It's not fair that the other guests were limited in their access to various hotel services for whatever reason.

I stayed here with my wife and our two kids (5 years old and 1 year old). Check-in was smooth and the staff were friendly, but we were not given proper information about the resort, restaurants, or how reservations work. We were told the steakhouse required reservations, but we were never informed that reservations could be made a day in advance. By the time we tried to book (even at 9 a.m.), we were told it was fully booked until the next day and then we were told it would be closing starting the following day. We were also not informed that most of the restaurants would be closing after just a few days of our stay, which felt like a cost-saving decision by management. The Mexican restaurant was only open for three days and then closed. The buffet was disappointing — very limited variety and the same menu every single day. There were very few vegetarian options. Even basic Mexican food was not good. At the snack bars, tortilla chips were available but not fresh or crunchy, and guacamole always ran out with no refill. On top of that, there were flies around the food, which was very unpleasant and concerning. When we approached management about vegetarian options, they did offer that the chef could prepare vegetarian food of our choice, which was nice and appreciated. There was only one staff member at the front desk, which resulted in extremely long wait times for both check-in and check-out. The shower drain had an unpleasant sewage smell. Although the staff asked politely if we needed anything, there was no follow-up action after we responded. From the third day of breakfast, olive oil was no longer available. When I asked for it, I was told that olive oil was not part of the breakfast offering, which was surprising since several types of olive oil had been available during the previous two days. During dinner, my plates were cleared without notice even though I had not finished eating. The ocean color was beautiful and the atmosphere was nice, but overall, the service lacked attention to detail.
The human figure mural in front of the room door was unsettling and felt scary both during the day and at night.
It looks very realistic, which made it even more frightening at night. I believe the mural should be removed.

This hotel was a complete disappointment from start to finish. Everything felt neglected, disorganized, and poorly managed. There was zero communication between staff, and even worse, no honest communication with guests. Every day felt like we were finding things out after the fact—if at all. The biggest issue was a large private party that arrived and completely took over the resort. Restaurants, buffets, and even bar access were shut down or blocked off without warning. We were left scrambling to figure out where to eat and drink, and at times had to leave the resort just to get food. That is unacceptable for a place that markets itself as an all-inclusive vacation destination. What’s the point of a vacation if you can’t relax, can’t eat, and are constantly worried about basic amenities being unavailable? Guests who paid full price were clearly not a priority. The lack of transparency and consideration was frustrating and infuriating. This was not a relaxing getaway—it was stressful, inconvenient, and misleading. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and regret choosing to stay here.

This resort seems to be the location of an annual holidays hosted by KMR for a specific group which books out the entire resort. Unfortunately, our stay overlapped with the beginning of this. The resort starts shutting down amenities a week ahead,namely à la carte restaurants. As guests start checking out and no new guests check in to make space for the group vacation attendees, there is a marked change. The staff seem miserable a few days before. Guests are corralled into a small dining area and served a very limited menu. Entertainment starts falling off. We considered leaving early. On top of all that concierge wouldn’t give us a clear answer. We asked when the French restaurant would open and was told it’s closed for the next few days and to check again. We tried booking the steakhouse and was told it was closed but they couldn’t tell us when it would reopen and to check again. The resort knew full well the restaurants would not be open. On the day of our departure, which coincided with the start of the official start of the kosher vacation, elevators started being taken out of service, music isn’t Latin anymore and was changed. Breakfast and lunch were significantly reduced menus. I paid to use the amenities was provided a significantly reduced experience. This is a one and done for us and will not return. Advice to any potential guest, research when the KMR vacations are and avoid this resort leading up to it.

We just stayed at Sensira for 7 nights. Our party consisted of 5 adults and 4 young children. The kids certainly had a lot to do! They bounced on the trampolines daily, watched a couple movies in the theatre, went down the waterslides, rode the mechanical bull, played in the sand on the beach, spent time in the two kids clubs, played mini golf, enjoyed their "special kids drinks" etc.! Our kids were all too short for the zip line, but we saw many kids go on it every day. The rooms were excellent. Spacious and kept clean daily. We had a beautiful view from our balcony of half resort and half ocean. Also, we had three rooms booked for our party and upon booking we asked to be close together. The resort fulfilled that request which was appreciated. The nightly shows at the resort are at 9pm. We didn't bother adjusting our kids to the new time zone and it worked out well so that they could see all the shows. The nightly shows are FANTASTIC! Shout out to Sammy who was our favourite Zumba instructor, and to Samantha who works in many different departments at the resort! She is a lovely girl who we saw running the mechanical bull, MC'ing the nightly shows, organizing poolside activities, etc. Food was great overall. The Mexican restaurant was pretty terrible though - ironically. Would recommend this resort to families with young children.

Our room was very nice, clean and staff was very nice. However, we were under the impression from the advertising that there was an adult inclusive area at this hotel. Kids friendly and friendly staff. Pool, food and next to beach had a great time! We stayed there for 7 nights and the only issue is that my room phone was not working since the for day and it didn’t get fixed at all! This is great resort and if you plan to go there, plan to arrive by afternoon!

Great room, lots of activities for children. The only negative was some of the restaurants were closed on alternating nights which made for huge lineups.

The Manager and Front desk was Everything! My room was verry good. The bellman and pool restaurant staff (guy with glasses)with the exception of 1 guy were colorist. The spa manager, I had to got the hotel manager to correct her. She tried to make me pay for my services instead of charging the services to my room, i was singled out. The bellman left me standing in mid conversation to assist another guest and when i went to ask another bellman he did the same thing and i had to address them both. They apologized but the damage was done. I left with $200 in tip money i specifically took due to lack of service. I've never experienced such behavior and will not be returning or recommending this resort. The buffet food, room services was terrible, i was sick and couldnt leave the room for an entire day. The steak house was excellent and its service.

come alone to a few different adult only resorts were trying to temper our expectations, as we knew it would be a different experience. PROS: Rooms - big and clean, a few scratches and dents here and there but nothing out of the ordinary, daily housekeeping was outstanding as well. Shows - Some of the shows were a bit cheesy, but amazing acrobatics and magicians blew us away during a few of the nights. CONS: Check In - Very slow process, takes about 15 minutes per guest and never have more than 2 people at the desk. Staff Level - The resort seemed to me to be EXTREMELY short staffed the entire time. Waiters took forever or were non-existent. Any of the event staff we had were absolutely outstanding though. Added shout-out to Diego, Angie and Alex, they were absolutely phenomenal and made us feel very welcome. Food - The food was underwhelming to say the least. The buffet was just okay, and I watched staff throw food that spilled off in front back into the trays. The restaurants were also just alright, but twice we got a dessert that was somehow SOPPING WET? Also, its nearly impossible to order food at Las Brisas, and in the 6 days we were there, I didn't see a single staff member at the Kiosk, just a few tortilla chips and cheese dip. The restaurants constantly ran out of basic things like ketchup and ice cream, two things I would think would be a necessity at a kid friendly resort. The stay was ok but not great. There seemed to be some staffing issues because I waited 45 minutes to check in. They didn't even apologize for the wait. Also, I ordered a drink at the main bar, right off the menu and they said they couldn't make it due to not having a blender. Additionally, they shut down the food service one night without telling anyone, making it so we had to wait a long time to order something. The food was ok but nothing spectacular. One other thing was, I went to the steak house and order the fillet, only to find out that it was out of stock. I know I sound pretentious but when pay so much to have a stay at a nice resort, you normally have high expectations. Everything wasn't all bad, they had a zip line for the kids and the show was pretty good. Overall disappointed in my experience.

No activities for adult couples as I went with my husband and was bored at times. I wish I reserved adult only resort. But Very family friendly for people with kids.

The staff were nice. Food options were limited. They kept the same menu for 7 days. The steak house and Italian restaurant were good. The resort was very clean. Terrible beach though. It has seaweed problem. We couldn't use the beach at all. The location is not convenient and roads around it are very bad with huge potholes. Nothing compared to Cancun. The swimming pools were not heated. This resort is ideal for kids. They have a water park, adventure club and lots of activities for kids. 5/5 for that. Kids wont get bored at all. Overall, I would not go back.
