Mogan Puerto Rico Shopping Center Hotels

"Had several stays here now & choose it as it’s in the perfect location for us. We choose the sumsuites section as it has good views over Puerto Rico but is still really handy to get to the bottom to amenities. The balconies are fabulous if like is you spend a lot of time on there, they get the sun from early on, unlike accommodation at the other bottom side of the hill. They are starting to look a little tired in places, such as the fake grass & the fridges, some of the sunbeds, but everything is kept clean & well maintained."

"Lovely stay at Gloria Palace royal, hopefully these words help: - taxi from the airport is around 70€ - breakfast is fantastic, plenty of cooked options and the freshly made omelette was a favourite of ours. - rooms are spacious and overlook the beach, but are starting to look a little dated. - maid comes everyday if you leave the sign on the door and brings 500ml of still and sparkling water. - there is no iron or ironing room…this was the biggest annoyance as we had to then pay for the ironing, so 7€ a dress and 5€ a shirt as example can soon add up. So either take your own iron or be prepared to pay. That said, the ironed clothes was returned in 24 hours (but could take 48)!! - hotel is spotlessly cleaned. - infinity pool is great and has a water dispenser, so take a refillable bottle, it helps! - pool towels are provided free of charge which is a good touch (but expected from a nice hotel) - no shop in the hotel, but a small spar shop is close, otherwise there are some limited vending machines placed around the hotel! - staff are friendly and helpful! - evening entertainment is ok, otherwise Puerto Rico is about 7€ in a taxi. Overall, would recommend but make sure you take an iron!! "

"Emailed numerous times prior to arrival but got no response. On arrival at the accommodation I was greeted with numerous bags of rubbish outside my apartment, which never got moved for 3 days. The water in the apartment wasn’t running I got advised from to use my families room who had 4 people in it. With very little running water. To use the shower you had to hold the shower head as the clip to at held the shower head in was very loose… No air conditioning in my room, but know some other ones I’ve stayed in had air conditioning. Pool clean. No sun loungers on balcony but other family members did."

"The hotel was very run down, with broken and dirty furniture. The dinner was not a proper buffet, but a very limited à la carte offering. Overall, the property is nowhere near the advertised 4-star standard."

"Great location in Puerto Rico, down 182 steps to the main shopping centre with lots of bars, shops and restaurants. Great sized pool, although wasn’t heated so in April was freezing cold! Decent pool bar, although food a little expensive for the portion sizes and quality. Great apartment with all the things you need, clean and decent sized balcony with great views. Would stay again. "
